Poppyseed Bagel—October 5, 2023
Be aware, right off the bat, that this is a pretty unwieldy setup for home use. You'll want some sort of bucket for these if using them there. The packaging for an individual roll had a lot of information that should be read to learn more. Various bacteria are listed and the length of time it would take to kill the majority of each type. Also, the instruction details include information that this material should only be used on non-porous hard surfaces. In a home environment you probably should not disinfect some surfaces such as butcher block countertop or wood cutting boards. I opened the roll and it was very citrus smelling. Now, I thought it was pleasant but others might find it over-powering. The wipes are an adequate size and have a very soft feel, almost like cloth, - and are sturdy. After letting a countertop set for a short time, the manufacturer suggests rinsing with potable water. This is only needed on food preparation surfaces. Bathtubs and showers would not require a clear water rinse but they must have a non-porous surface according to the instructions. Basically, the wipes are more suited to commercial use in gyms, hospitals, schools, hotel bathrooms and less useful in homes. It will take quite a while to use a roll of 800 wipes, that's for sure. I cannot, of course, verify that germs were killed but the smell made the job pleasant and I know the counter is now pretty clean! 4 out of 5. Very good, but know what you're getting into. Read more

I'm a big fan of eco-friendly products, and when it comes to disinfecting wipes, I was excited to try plant based wipes. These natural wipes truly live up to their name. They are not only effective at cleaning and disinfecting but also gentle on surfaces. Knowing that they are chemical-free makes me feel good about using them in my home and my office/classroom (high school teacher here!). However, there's one thing to note. The product description might lead you to believe that it comes with a reusable bucket dispenser, but it doesn't. I found this out after purchase. I checked the brand's Amazon store and discovered that they do sell a compatible bucket for $15-$200. It would have been more convenient if the product included the bucket or had a clear link on the main ad page to purchase the bucket separately. This way, customers like me wouldn't have to search extensively to find the right dispenser. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the wipes themselves, but adding a dispenser or providing a direct link to purchase one would greatly enhance the product's value and user experience. Read more

I received these disinfecting wipes in four huge rolls with 800 wipes per roll. I just assumed that there would be a case or container to hold them but it is just the wipes. Other than that, they are ready to use. I like that these are biodegradable, and are made with plant-based ingredients. The scent isn't pleasant per se, but it is not bad either, it is more of a medical scent. I have been using these to wipe down the counters in my kitchen and bathrooms, and I do like that it is safe and clean for my children and dog. These wipes are effective in cleaning and killing 99.9% of bacteria, and are free of synthetic fragrances and Bleach. I will be purchasing a container to hold these in, as it is an obscene amount of wipes, but I know that they will get used around my house in my day today household cleaning chores. Read more

These wipes come in 4 giant rolls in plastic bags. The wipes themselves are good size, about 8x6 inches. I don’t know if I agree with the description of a “pleasant scent” and that they are lightly scented. To me they definitely have a commercial cleaner smell to them but at least it is not as strong as some heavy duty cleaners and the smell seems to dissipate after a while. However, I don’t like the smell they leave on my hands. My husband described it as herbal, but to me my hands smelled kind of musty and unpleasant. I expected the wipes to dry out my skin because of their efficiency but they did not dry out my hands too much or irritate the skin at all. However, because of the smell I will probably use some gloves when using these wipes in the future. These wipes shine at cleaning. I have used them in my kitchen and they cut through grease and grime effortlessly. Even on my stove and exhaust hood they cleaned without scrubbing. And I love knowing that they are disinfecting and effective against a number of nasty bacteria and viruses. Read more

These are four very large rolls of disinfecting wipes. They do not have a case of any kind, so you will need some kind of large container to put these in. Maybe if you are careful opening them, the plastic bag will stop them from drying out. The smell is not overwhelming, and I find these are good for a variety of cleaning applications. Bathrooms, kitchen (but probably not while preparing food), general dusting and cleaning, outdoor tables. The dispense easily, they pull from the middle and come out easily and cleanly with good perforation. I find it amusing that these are advertised as plant based, I know they mean they are not made with plastic/oil products, but I just picture what a meat-based disinfecting wipe would look like….
