this is a pretty dress. The purple is a nice deep shade and is true to the online photos. Be sure to read the size chart. I normally wear a 2X and sized up to a 4X using the measurements on the chart. The dress is described as body con, and I thought that sizing up I might buy myself a little more room, as I'm not comfortable in super tight clothing. The dress definitely fits as a body con dress. That is to say, the 4X fits like a 2X but hugs every lump, bump and curve of the body. I"m 5'4" with short legs and the dress length hits me below the knee.
