Seems to work pretty well! My only complaint is that it must be read horizontally, despite the vertical packaging, but it looks tacky to me that way. They are not particularly easy to read as it is, but get the job done for what they are. Otherwise, mine have lasted months now with no issue. I bought one for each side of my 30 gallon tank, and they help me control the gradient well. They are appropriately sensitive to ambient temperature and seem to be long lasting. Very simple thermometer to use. The temperature reading is not perfect and I would not recommend using this if you require a very small temperature range. I have it in my bearded dragon's tank and it is a good enough indicator when my night heating lamp doesn't come on properly. It's awesome or the price. I needed something SMALL small for inside my spiderling's enclosure. This turned out perfectly! Advantages: --> super flat --> SO SMALL (thumb in pic for scale) --> entire back is sticky --> temperature is determined by chemical reaction, so top or bottom can be trimmed to fit a smaller space and it will still be accurate Disadvantages --> I had to learn celsius because I can't see fahrenheit through my spider's webbing :( Read more
Sticks really well to a terrarium, but it's difficult to get a good reading because the temperature obviously differs based on where you stick the thermometer in relation to the heat pad/light/etc. Read more
I like this thermometer for it’s small size and you can clearly see the temperature without straining your eyes. Haha It shows the degree in number and is color coded which I can see across the room. I am going to replace all my reptile thermometers with this one. Read more
I liked the price and the ease of putting it on the tank but I’m not sure if this gives an accurate reading on the heat given from the heat lamp. Because I went up in wattage and the temp hasn’t moved. Read more
