I love this thing and I can keep crashing as many cloves as I want. It is so much easier to use and clean compared to the hand help presses. I'd recommend hand washing when possible. One of the decorative panels fell off after a few runs through the dishwasher. Read more
This garlic press rocker does what it's supposed to do, but I'm not totally blown away. The stainless steel construction feels solid enough, but if you have larger hands, it will feel awkward. The rocking motion takes a bit of getting used to - it's different from traditional garlic presses, and I'm not sure it's actually easier or faster. You do need to apply decent pressure to get the garlic through, especially if the cloves are larger. The grip is uncomfortable, and my hands can get a bit tired after pressing multiple cloves. Cleaning is okay but not as effortless as I hoped. Garlic bits can get stuck in the holes, and while the scraper helps, I still find myself rinsing it thoroughly or using a brush. It is dishwasher safe, which is convenient. The garlic peeler that comes with it is pretty basic - just a silicone tube. It works fine but nothing special. Overall, it's a decent garlic press that gets the job done. It's not a game-changer in my wife's kitchen, but it's functional. It's easy to use, with a good grip. I am not impressed with the overall performance. The garlic tends to stick and I have to scrape it off into the bowl. Not that easy to clean as with the garlic stuck in the holes, I have to really scrub to make sure it's clean. Have gone back to my garlic scraper. Read more
