This microneedling pen is a GREAT option if you don't want to fork out the money for one of the popular brands. I had a different microneedling pen from one of the big names that finally bit the dust after years, and didn't want to spend the money again to replace it. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try this one - it is exactly the same functionally for a fraction of the price! It is durable, well made, and a comfortable size/weight to hold and use. The kit comes with so much, as well, so you won't need to purchase additional heads for a while. This is a high quality tool at an excellent value, especially considering all the supplies included. But, if you are not an esthetician, you’re gonna need to do a lot of research and go to YouTube university before you use a professional micro-needling device like this. This device comes with everything you need to get started *except* directions/instructions. It doesn’t even come with basic instructions for how to maintain the device, let alone how to safely use it. Considering what learning to use the device will save you in spa appointments, I’d say it’s an excellent value, but I’d hesitate to recommend it to an amateur. This has been wonderful for my skin. I was nervous it would be uncomfortable, but it’s not. It’s easy to use and well-made. This contains tons of attachments so no need to purchase those separately. This makes it a wonderful value. The device easily glides on the contours of my face without any issues. It is effective and has a number display for your convenience. So far I’m very happy with this pen. It seems well made and has a nice weight to it. Light and comfortable to hold yet substantial. It’s not cheap and flimsy by any means! It has an adjustable dial so that you can choose the depth of your needling, from .25 up to 2.5 which should be suitable for most any at home microneedling. The pen comes well packaged and with its own plastic storage case. Along with it is the cord for recharging and 20 individually wrapped needle heads of various sizes and configurations! 20! There’s nano needle heads for delicate areas, a stamps of 12 I believe and stamps of 42. I also love that they’re disposable meaning that I don’t have to be paranoid about properly cleaning them afterwards for reuse. That’s been an issue of mine with the stamps and rollers I have been usingbup until now. I was just never comfortable with sanitizing and reusing the same needles over and over again. These disposable heads make that a non issue! The speed setting easy to adjust and the display window allows you to see which speed you’ve set. Overall the depth and speed settings make this pen very versatile and easy to use, suitable for beginners as well as for those with more experience. Given the nice construction of the pen and the generous amount of needles included I think this is a reasonable price in comparison to others on the market and it is absolutely a bargain considering the cost of having this done in a spa setting. This unit came in a nice little case—at first I wasn’t sure if it was just for shipping or intended as a storage case, but it works well for keeping everything together. After charging it up, I tried one of the needle packs that was already in the case. At first I was a little worried—what I tested felt more like sandpaper than actual needles and didn’t seem to do much. Then I noticed the large bag of extra cartridges included, which turned out to be an assortment. I swapped to one of the finer needles and gave it a test on my face and a couple of spots on my stomach. The unit performed like I expected once I found the right needle type. Everything felt smooth and steady, and now it’s just a matter of seeing if the results come over time. So far, a solid microneedling option—especially for a beginner. Read more
