I bought this item in December of 2023. It was good when I first got it. After 3 months, it does not work any more. I got my rice ready to cook. Started propare my other dish. Went back to check the rice, it was never cooked. Try plug into different out lets and check the circuit box everything was OK except the switch does not turn on or off. Try it many times IT DID NOT WORK. I have been using rice cooker all my life. I have 3 others except they were too big for me now. Even the first one I had (60 years old). They are still working. But this little one only work for 3 months, it stoped! I forgot to throw away left it in my cabinet until today I saw it! I remember I was going to return it. But it only had a 30 days return period! What a piece of crap! I love rice. I can't stop eating just one cup of (cooked) rice. And I don't like leftover anything including rice. Now I can cook only one cup (cooked) cup of rice. Can't eat any more and don't have to eat leftover rice. Very fast it really just atke 15 minutes to cook and nice and hot and just right for one person. You can cook more if you want and need, but I just want to eat a very limited amount so, this is great for me. Read more

PRO: easy use, easy clean (lid falls off separately), lightweight and small CON: bubbles over easily This is great for singles or couples who only need to make small portions each time. It is easy to use - only one button, and numbers engraved on the bowl inside to guide you how much water per rice cup. Cleaning is quite easy as well - the lid comes off, so no need to hassle with holding the whole unit when you clean it. However, this product bubbles over really easily. I know starch content is the main reason for bubbling over, but I washed the rice 3-4 times until the water becomes clear. I only do one cup, so there’s a lot of excess space to the top. Yet somehow this bubbles over and drools starch water beneath it all the time, making me use it in the sink. It’s really annoying, but other than that it does the job in 15-20 minutes. Hopefully I’ll try buying a different rice next time and see if it still drools starch water. 3 stars for now, will update. Read more
