I bought this curling iron as it is dual voltage, and we were going to be traveling internationally. When I first received it though, I thought it was too big (it has a long barrel), but it is perfect! Heats quickly and comes with a glove to prevent burning your fingers which I don't use as there is long tip at the end to hold the iron in place that works for me. I like this curling iron so much that when it popped up on sale, I bought another one to have on hand. Read more

I love the length of the barrel but if you have fine hair, like me, it doesn't grab the hair very well. It is a really nice curling rod, heats up fast and has a really long cord, just better for thick hair. Read more

This was such a good purchase. I have the namebrand one in a 1 inch rod, which is the bio ionic and I do love it, but it is very pricey. I’ve bought several of these and sent them back because there’s always something wrong with them. Either the clamp isn’t tight enough for the smaller pieces of hair or the and piece on the end is not long enough to protect my fingers from getting burnt. Bc I’m not really a glove type of girl. I’m always in a hurry. This has a very tight clamp and the piece on the end of this curling iron is plenty long enough to protect my fingers. It is such a solid buy !!!. I do not regret it whatsoever. I gave $130 for my namebrand one with a coupon code. This one was $33 after tax like you literally cannot beat it. The only thing that I wish was the same as the namebrand was the heat locks in on my name brand and it does not on this one and I do wish it had a in between temperature from the 350 to the 400 but it’s not a dealbreaker. It’s kind of insane that this was only $40 considering that it has the same features as the high end curling irons that go for hundreds of dollars. It has a little stand so that it doesn’t burn your counter tops, comes with a glove, heats up in approximately 30 seconds, has multiple heat settings, and most importantly: IT HAS A SWIVEL CORD! Plus the barrel is ceramic coated which makes it easier to curl wavy/curly/coarse hair. Read more
