This curling iron comes in a sturdy box. I should have read the instructions as it gets instantly hot and I burnt my hand- totally my fault. Just a caution. It has a perfect tension on the hair grip, sturdy base and temperature control that locks so you don't accidentally turn it up and burn your hair. The temperature is in F and can be precisely set to a temperature appropriate for your type of hair. It also comes with a heat protective glove- that should have been my first clue :). I haven’t used this curling iron for very long, but so far it’s been working well. The materials feel good quality, not top of the line, but definitely solid. It also depends on your hair thickness, but one thing I’ve noticed is that if the iron doesn’t grip the hair properly in the circled part, the curl won’t form. It doesn’t happen often, but it has happened to me a couple of times. I bought it because I have long hair and needed a suitable styling tool. The curls come out really pretty and are created very quickly. Overall, it met my expectations. I’m not giving it 5 stars yet because I want to test it over a longer period of time. Read more

This is my second time purchasing this curling iron. It has an extra long barrel and curls my longer hair much easier than shorter barrel curling irons. My first one lasted 3 years but I did drop it on my tile floor on many occasions. Very durable. Great price. Heats up remarkably fast. Doesn't burn hair. I would buy it over and over again! December 2025: Only 6 months later and the spring completely snapped. The wand us unusable now!!! So frustrating. I lost faith in the quality of this brand. I will have to switch to a new brand. :( Original review July 2025: This is my favorite heating tool ever. I bought this tool two years ago, and this year it broke after multiple drops on my tile floor...lol. I bought a second one because after MANY curling wands, this one became my holy grail. It is the only curling wand that does not cause heat damage in my hair. My hair comes ojt EXTREMELY smooth and silky every time. I have had CHI, hot tools, Connair, and more. None of them do what this beauty does. The only con to this curling wand is that there is an extremely thin little space on the wand where your hair will get caught on and so loose hair gets stuck there and builds up in that one spot over time. After a month, I just take a small pair of scissors and cut that hair off. Other than that, this really is the healthiest option for your hair. Read more
