1 Roll Football Turf Tape for Turf Burn - Extra Wide Kinesiology Tape for Arm Knee Shoulder Ankle

I use Kinesiology tape almost every day. I have several patterns I use on my foot and ankle depending on what shoes I am wearing, what I am doing and how long I will be doing it. This 4” wide tape from MUSEFITR gives me more options for patterns and designs I have seen demonstrated online. There are several fan patterns that are difficult to do with the 2” tape that are easy with the 4”, for comparison. The 3 piece - fan pattern is a great way to tape my ankle - it utilizes 2 cuts that are about 1 ⅓” apart on about ½ the tape section and leaving the other section whole. I see it most often for shoulders and knees. This tape can be put on and used for a few hours but it is designed to be left on for up to 3 days. The tape stays on in the shower or bath and leaves almost no residue when removed ( I always end up with a thin line at the edge of where the tape had been…which removes easily with soap and water or lotion). This tape is $15.95 with a 10% off coupon for 30 ft ( net at $14.50 ) at the time of this review. I do think this is a bit pricy but it allows me to use one section and accomplish what 3 pieces of 2” tape are needed to do, for comparison. My rating based on these details is 4.5 Stars. I used to use the most popular brand of kinesiology tape, but I was getting disappointed with how it was going higher and higher in price and wasn’t working as well as it used to. Also I don’t know if they changed adhesives but I started having skin reactions to it and it wasn’t staying on as well. So I figured what the heck, let’s try something else. I’m so glad I did. Not only is this a wider stip, but the adhesive stays on better and it doesn’t bother my skin at all. Used it for four days and no rash or blisters. Wonderful. And much easier on the wallet. Wide K-tape, perfect for wrapping limbs more efficiently than the more common sizes of K-tape you find on here. Stickiness is fine, as is the stretch, and it's nice to find some K-tape that isn't candy color or skin tone. Works well at a decent price. A decent option. Read more

I love that this is a wider tape (4”) & it doesn’t bother my skin at all. No discomfort when removing. The adhesive seems to hold up just as well as the other brand. It is stretchy as it should be, but to me it’s a bit thinner. Not so much that I wouldn’t order it again though. All in all it’s a good tape. Read more

This is a really nice thick role of kinesiology tape! The tape is great -- it sticks well and doesn't ride up or bunch up, yet it doesn't stick hard enough that it can't be removed without harm. This makes it perfect to use on the thin skin on your feet or ankles. Nice tape! Read more

I normally use kinesiology tape for my knee or wrist and I was excited to try a wider roll since more intricate supportive patterns can be achieve. The back of the tape has cutting guidelines for easier cutting which is always appreciated specially with a roll that's 4 inches wide. I did my normal knee design for every day things and although the support felt great, sturdy and it had a nice stretch, the overall tape edges were falling off withing 24 hours. The box nor the listing really state how long the tape will last but I am a little surprised that it barely made it 24 hours when other tapes usually last 2-4 days on average. Since this is turf tape that is used to prevent injuries from sports I'm having mixed feelings on how strong the adhesive is since half of it peeled off just from walking and laying on the couch as opposed from running around in a field and being thrown around.
