Having used this pan for several weeks, I can confirm it’s a high quality piece of cookware. But is it worth the money? To answer that, I have to compare it to the other pans I’ve owned, none of which have been premium quality. Right out of the box, the Chefwin pan stands out. The rim is thicker and buffed to an almost mirror polish, and the pan feels noticeably heavier than my comparable Amazon pan, even though it’s only slightly larger. Both use a multi-layer construction with steel on the outside and aluminum sandwiched between, and both have welded handles with no interior rivets. In use, the Chefwin pan performs better, though the difference is subtle. Heat distribution seems more even, but not dramatically so. Both pans will let food stick if there isn’t enough oil or if the food isn’t stirred promptly. However, when cooking on high heat, the difference becomes clear: the cheaper Amazon pan develops an amber colored residue that’s tough to scrub off and often requires steel wool. The Chefwin pan, on the other hand, resists this staining and is generally easier to clean. Overall, while the Chefwin pan is undeniably higher quality, I’m not convinced it justifies the steep price difference. For the cost of one Chefwin pan, I could buy six of the Amazon versions. If you’re after a premium pan, I’d recommend the Chefwin, but if you’re on a budget, the cheaper option still performs respectably. Read more
When I saw this frying pan, I immediately fell in love. The 10.2" stainless steel cookware is deep, and you can use it to literally go from stovetop to oven to your plate. The pan heats up evenly and I am able to make fluffy omelets without having issues of some areas heating faster than others. From the first time you take it out of the box, you immediately recognize the quality of the construction. The fact that I can finish off dishes in the oven without any issues is a winning characteristic as well. The pan is deep enough for me to cook meals in the pan. The pan is easy to clean and doesn't allow items to stick as long as you insure you have enough oil, butter, or liquid in the pan. I really like how the pan works for making sausage gravy. In my opinion, it is a good value for the money because of the quality features. Read more
This is now my favorite pan to cook. In fact after making the first meal in this, I immediately went back on Amazon to see if they have the larger size. Extremely well-made solid stainless steel. Oven safe, no rivets in the handle. This is all one piece, absolutely beautiful. it’s nice and heavy for browning. It heats evenly so you don’t burn garlic in olive oil or butter or sugar. It cleans up extremely easy and the beautiful thing about stainless steel is you don’t worry about scratching it or damaging it with metal utensils, basically use whatever you want to use wood metal plastic if you must. I think the cost is in line with any other big name brand chef oriented pans but I think this one is better value. I’ve seen some of those rivets and screws. I like that this one is welded. It’s all one piece really gonna last a lifetime. stainless steel is easy to use if you know how if you’ve been using nonstick your whole life it is it gonna be a little bit of a learning curve but once you learn it, you probably will get rid of all of your nonstick pans. Ordered the 10.2 inch pan because it's deeper than regular pans. This is made by a Korean company that makes quality pans. This pan can work on any cooking surface including induction and can be put in the oven as well. Our stovetop is gas and we've struggled with cheaper pans where we have to use the high BTU cooking element for the most basic things. However with this pan, heat distribution is much better and we can much less heat and gas to cook the same. The triple layer base truly works, and the heft on the base is noticeable. Also the handle is soldered and has no rivets. In every other pan we have, oil and grease inevitably accumulates around the rivets. Not here. The handle is quite long and the instructions mention that it has a vacuum sealed core, so it remains cool to the touch although it's made of the same stainless steel. Highly recommend it. It's surface is entirely stainless steel with no other coatings, so very safe to use at any temperature. Read more

I got this pan for my husband, who is a chef. He was very excited to use it and gave it a five star rating. He’s very picky about kitchen equipment and he’s never given anything five stars before, so I knew he really meant it. This pan is very heavy, and deeper than your average sauté pan. It cooks evenly and the chicken came out with a beautiful finish. One thing my husband really liked is that it has lines on the side for liquid measurements. The pan cleaned up with no issues, I was no different then cleaning a non-stick pan. I’m really happy with this purchase, I would buy more of these pans. Read more
The construction and weight of this pan are high quality. Instructions say to use low to medium heat and when I did my food cooked quickly and evenly. (both meat and vegetable dishes) Heat did not travel up the long handle. If you prefer to hold it close to the pan, you may need a pot holder. It cleaned up easily with one of those 'no scratch' pads. Instructions say baking soda can be used if the pan gets any discoloration. I wish it had a 'helper handle' opposite the long handle because my wrist strength isn't the best. Most people would not find this an issue so I didn't deduct a star. It's lovely, high class cookware. Read more
