The material quality of these Cavisoo grow bags is better than other generic offerings I tried. The felt is of sufficient thickness. The stitching at the seams and handles is adequate. I absolutely envision these bags lasting for more than a few growing seasons. The height and capacity enough to accommodate shorter varieties of carrots. Really like these, they are very strong and easy to move from place to place, but you either have to commit to leaving the plant in it for it's entire life, or repot or in ground before too long. Left some plants in them for nearly 6 months and the tiny roots went through the fabric on the bottom damaging the plant quite a bit during the transplant. Plants survived, but after a considerable shock. So use them, move them around easily, but get the plants out before too long or leave them be for good. Read more
This is my second year using these bags. They're sturdy , made well and easy to handle when full. I am growing tomatoes, peppers, chard and zucchini. I do use other 10 gal bags for potatoes because these are not deep enough but I guess you could. I don't see as many weeds or bug issues when I use these bags. I would recommend, if yu plan on using on you wooden deck, that you do not set them directly on the wood. The frequent watering will damage your deckboards Read more
