Ultra Pro is the gold standard for protecting sports and non-sports cards alike! All other brands are inferior. Especially the cheaper options on Amazon. These will fit your 35pt cards easily and you don't typically have to fight the sleeve to slide the card in. There is enough spacing at the top, so if your card happens to slide up the penny sleeve while in a top loader, the card will most likely still be protected by the additional space the sleeve has instead of being exposed to the top loader. There is also enough space on the sides, so you're not fighting to slide the card in and risk the chance of dinging a corner. I've purchased many different brands of penny sleeves on Amazon to try cheaper options, but THEY ARE CHEAPER FOR A REASON. I've returned some of the other brands as well as have a stack of unused penny sleeves that probably never will be used, simply because they barely have any additional space at the top or sides. Ultra Pro penny sleeves are worth the extra few bucks, so if you care about your cards, make the right choice and go with Ultra Pro. It'll save you from having to return products and potentially ruining your cards. **I've highlighted the extra space in green that most other penny sleeve brands do not offer** These will also fit cards a little thicker than 35pt. I use these for Allen & Ginter mini framed autos and they work perfectly fine. Read more

This was such a good deal I couldn’t say no. My family was about to open a lot of Pokémon so we definitely needed some sleeves. I ended up buying enough to last a good while lol. I’ve been using this brand since I was a kid! They’re just perfect for Pokémon cards. They last, fit without being too tight or loose and they fit in binder sleeves immaculately. Even the ones I have from 20years ago are still in good shape . I would absolutely recommend these if you’re about to rip some packs! Read more

Most people use these only for sports, non-sports or gaming cards. They're excellent for those. I have found a new use for these sleeves & another of my collections - postage stamps. The cost of glassine envelopes, which I used to regularly use to sort & store my stamps, has risen dramatically & it's just not cost effective to spend many times more on supplies than the items one is collecting. This is the 3rd time I've ordered these since Dec & they have been perfect for sorting & storing the postage stamps I've recently acquired. I collect U.S. & World wide, new & used, singles, pairs, blocks, postage marks, etc. so I have a lot of stamps & it's never enough - I collect all I can because I enjoy sorting them & love looking at the various little pieces of art & so I'm going thru these sleeves like crazy! I'm very pleased I thought of these to sort & store my stamp collection - they protect them & I use team bags to keep different groups of a series of stamps together, or to keep various types of the same style stamps (those from panes, booklets, coils, etc.) separate in the sleeves & then together in a team bag. I'll order more as I need them for my trading cards & postage stamps as long as they're at the reasonable prices that I've been able to get them at recently. I recommend these for both cards & postage stamps. I mostly have used them for my used postage stamps - mint ones go in mounts or my stockbook. Read more

Overview: These sleeves are a great value if you need a large number of sleeves. If you are just trying to cover one deck, you might want to look into higher quality ultra pros or dragon shields (my favorite). If you need to cover a large number of cards like the marvel legendary board game this is the only option that is not cost prohibitive. Overview of the 3 card sleeves I have used Penny Sleeves (.01 a sleeve) Pros: Cost Cons: durability, very slick, quality control (see below), do not shuffle well, very thin Ultra Pro (around .07 a sleeve) Pros: More durable than penny sleeves, Cons: A little less durable than dragon shields, more slick than dragon shields Dragon Shields (around .10 a sleeve) Pros: Very Durable, Best for shuffling, Not very slick Cons: Price When I say "slick" I am talking about how well these sleeves stack on each other. When you stack a deck of sleeves some sleeves will slide all over the place and make it very hard to keep your decks in order. These card sleeves are CHEAP, I do mean cheap, not inexpensive. I have gone through around 500 sleeves and 3 were ruined due to poor quality control, not a big deal but it really highlights the fact you get what you pay for. The sleeves hold up okay, but will not hold up under prolonged usage. They slide a large amount and sometimes stick together. I purchased these sleeves to help cover my marvel Legendary board game (500 cards). For all of my smaller decks I use dragon shields which are much better overall. Read more
