This value sized box of fine tip black dry erase markers writes sharper than the bulky traditional marker, which is great for small text. Unfortunately, they don’t erase cleanly. Each time I wiped the board, they left behind noticeable smears and ghosting that made the surface look dirty. Even with a good eraser, extra cleaning was needed, including dry erase marker cleaning spray, to fully remove the marks. Not my favorite, as the smearing defeats the purpose of a dry erase marker. Looking to find bulk dry erase markers for the kids, I wanted to find black ink that could be used (and then wiped off) of white boards. The kids love using markers to figure out their math problems by writing them out as they figure out the answer seems to really help their learning. They do this almost every school night and we use a lot of markers! The Birebebys markers come in a bulk quantity of 108 markers. We haven't used all of them, but the markers we have used are impressive. Each marker worked well with strong ink and solid lines. The markers didn't smear, and I even tried wiping it immediately after writing. The ink obviously dries very quickly. The fine tip does allow you to write and draw very small lines so you can create as you wish. The smell of the dry erase markers was barely noticed. First of all, the package is organized so well that I know a teacher would LOVE it, but I'm just a civilian, so I messed it up immediately. The colors are very vibrant, and I found that the writing tip is exactly the size that I wanted - you can write small (I have a whiteboard monthly calendar, and filling in the dates can be really annoying) with no problem. So far none of the colors have left a stain when I leave the writing up for about 24 hours. I also think the tip is really durable, not so pointy that it'll immediately flatten and look ugly and just the right firmness. The line is medium, leaning slightly toward a thicker medium, which works well for boards that need to be seen from a distance. They work great on our dry erase boards and wipe off easily without leaving residue. One thing to note is that this set only comes in black.
