1080P USB Camera for Switch 2 PC Ring Light 3-Level Brightness - Streaming Camera with Built-in Mic Tripod

The camera came in packaged very well in a tiny box. It had a paper manual, a bag with the lens privacy cover piece, tripod, and camera. I immediately plugged it into my PC via the USB cable and opened the base of the camera to hook it onto my monitor. It was easy and stuck because the base is lined with a lot of rubber. I opened the camera app on my PC and it worked instantly. Normally I get a connection error because I do not have a camera built into my monitor. The image was crisp and white, and showed a pretty good view of my whole room without a fish eye appearance. It was very clear and I did not share a picture of the image quality due to the fact that it was so good it caught all my blemishes haha. Very unexpected. The audio honestly isn't the best, as it sounds slightly muffled during playback, but that may be due to my monitor's stereos; I don't know. The auto focus worked really well when I turned off the lights; the square tried to follow my face the entire time and during daylight the auto focus square is nonexistent. The 3 light settings on the ring light are awesome in the dark and aren't even needed during the daytime really. In the dark they're good enough to really light up my keyboard and my face and each setting is noticeably brighter than the last. The camera app can be off and the lights will still work in case that was a concern or interest for anyone. The privacy shutter is an individual piece with 3M tape on the back. You must peel off the protective layer and align it on your camera before sticking it on carefully. After the process is done, the shutter shifts with ease across the lens. The tripod attachment is also super easy to use and sits up well with very little manipulation. The camera is able to turn in many ways and angles, although it must be turned very sharply down at me when attached to my monitor due to the height of my monitor. But I definitely think I'm very pleased with the overall product so far. I'm also a teacher and we do a lot of zooms! An affordable, reliable, and good camera is always handy to have. Read more

The camera wasn't best quality but was working fine when I first set it up. Yesterday was the return deadline for this item. Today when I connected the camera for a Zoom meeting the image was pixilated and extremely poor quality to the point that I had to disconnect it and complete the meeting off camera. And since the return window closed yesterday, I have no option but to simply throw it away and never purchase that brand/item again. Read more

I just opened and installed this before a meeting I had. That process was pretty easy, only took about few minutes. Picture quality is good, focused naturally at the monitor range. The "ring" light is noticeably making a difference, even though subtle in my lighting. Reduced my shadows from window light. The one tech flaw: it was described as having an LED that indicates the camera is on or off. That did not come on for me, but the ring light did give a softer glow indicating it was on, so that lets you know, but that LED didn't work. I have a separate, good mic for my online meetings. On my first couple of calls immediately after install, no one complained about my audio, but I didn't catch it until after that it had switched to the camera's mic, so I have to say it must have done a decent job there. Easy settings change in my app to get sound back to my regular mic. Overall, I'm happy with the camera purchase, and it not being expensively priced. I just wanted something better than the laptop integrated one, and better than an older model "activity camera for when you're on the go" I was using as a webcam. Early into the ownership so hoping it lasts and keeps performing well. Took away 1 star because it didn't technically function as it said it would. Read more
