This product would be perfect except for one minor glitch: then power button exhibits what we used to call "keyboard bounce": When I press it to turn the light on, it will turn on for a split second and then turn off again. The same for turning the light off. I've had to develop a technique of very firmly pressing down on the button and very quickly releasing it to ensure that it powers on or off the first time. Not a big deal, and not worth reporting it or sending it back. I don't want to bother because otherwise I REALLY like this light. The base attaches very securely to my workbench and the articulating arm moves smoothly and stays in position. (This light replaces an older, smaller goose neck lamp that had a tendency to droop after being positioned.) The light is bright and offers two modes (warm and cool), both of which are useful in different contexts. The magnifying glass is strong with reasonably good optics. I highly recommend this light for anybody needing a solid workspace light but who does not need a large, expensive, professional model. Read more

I got this for my dollhouse building and it works well. Easy to attach to my table and stays. Fairly lightweight and the light settings are easy to use. I had one issue and this was on me. In adjusting the clamp I snagged the cord for the light in between the clamp. This caused the cord to short out and the light no longer worked. The magnifying glass seems high quality. I'm not sure whether it is 10 power, but it is good and very useful for detailed work. The extension is a little short, but if you can mount it fairly close to where you work it is fine. The light is bright and has color and brightness adjustments that work well. For the price this is a good lamp. Read more
Okay for what it is. It's a light, it lights things up. It's a magnifier, it magnifies things. You've gotta keep it at a specific distance from your project or else the magnification fish-eyes. Does NOT extend nearly as much as the images make you think it does, and the flexibility is very disappointing. If there is a way to lay this thing completely flat like the images show, then I haven't figured it out yet. I bought this to make my embroidery easier on my neck and eyes, but I use a lap stand for my hoop and I have to sit extremely close to the table for the lamp to be even somewhat useful. I would return it if amazon didn't make that such a hassle. Read more
