I bought this bag because I’m currently receiving chemotherapy and every two weeks I’m connected to a pump for a few days. I wanted something a little more elegant and less obviously medical than the black nylon fanny pack the hospital supplies. However, I love this bag so much I now carry it everywhere. It holds just enough - my phone, charger, earbuds, meds, wipes, sunglasses - even the 16oz water bottle in the pic can fit sideways across the top. I took a quick trip to NYC this past weekend and this bag was an indispensable travel companion. Perfect to keep the aforementioned items handy, and ideal to organize a myriad of boarding passes and baggage claim stubs. The strap is long enough that I could stow the bag under the seat in front of me but still hold the strap for easy retrieval when needed. It’s well made and rugged. The leather looks and feels great. Others have complained about the smell; to me, it smells exactly like new leather should. The green canvas lining is fine in my opinion. Rugged as opposed to dainty. It’s a bag, not a purse. I love it. But definitely don’t get one. I want to be the only kid on the block with this thing. Read more

The bag smells strange and not like real leather. The picture shown of the bag on Amazon looks nothing compared to the bag that I received. The photo of bag on Amazon looks vintage, worn and soft, and the bag I received was stiff, not near the right color and cheap looking. I’m very disappointed in the quality. Read more

Update: Used the bag on my vacation,, and it was perfect. It is so comfortable to wear, you can barely feel it, and it came through well. No issues with it at all.. like the bag a lot. The strap is nice and long. I am a busty girl, and a lot of times the straps aren't long enough to allow for the extra room up front, and the bags hit in a really weird, uncomfortable spot. The inside has several sections to put stuff in, it doesn't have credit cards slots, which would have been a nice touch, but it definitely isn't a deal breaker. A thin wallet will work fine. The inside is a rough green material. It is a nice color, but a weird choice of fabric for me. The purse will hold a phone, a slim wallet, and some extras for traveling. It should work well for me on my trip. The leather looks nice, but it feels kind of greasy. They put a note inside that they wiped it down with vegetable oil to get it glossy, and that might be what I am feeling. I did rub a towel over it several timese to see if anything came off, a greasy spot, etc, but it didn't. I am sure with wear it will go away. All in all, I am happy with the bag. The media could not be loaded. Bad design I will have to become right handed so the buckle is at least on my back at my shoulder blade. One would think leather was $20 a square inch as sparingly as it is used on the strap and buckle. I do like the bag itself but will have to replace the leather strap with a burlap one. That way I can make it as long as I wish. Then it won't hit the bottom of my ribs like a purse as I am to old to get away with that. The purse itself is great, that is why I will fix myself. I am also not a fan of taking pictures of myself. So I do want to say thank you for that too. I just thought people should know. Read more

I love this bag especially for the price. It has a great look to it and is very spacious with a lot of pockets. There was some fraying around the back zipper but I just cut off the loose threads and one of the pockets has some sharp hardware from the snaps on the front. I put some duct tape over them in the pocket and it is not a problem now. Super great bag for the price! It did smell once unwrapped but that dissipated after a couple days. I love the green interior fabric too. My sister saw it in a photo and immediately commented on it and wanted to know where I got it. I feel very sophisticated using it. This bag arrived on time and packed well. I was looking for vintage look bag with space, and although it does not look old yet, over time the weather will wear and get softer. There is a chemical smell from the dye or oil whatever is used, but it is going away day by day. Overall I'm really happy with the bag. It's beautiful, it's comfortable to wear, I can get a lot of stuff in it including my iPad pro and bulky eyeglass cases, and the price was extremely reasonable. Read more

I mostly like the bag, but I am a tad disappointed. First, the most obvious: during the construction of the bag, the hardware was installed without unwrapping it from protective plastic wrap. This caused plastic to be stuck between the leather and metal, which sticks out and looks awful. Also, the plastic was sticky, so the metal I was able to unwrap has residue all over it. Less obvious, this bag is entirely unlabeled. I have a larger Cuero bag that I love, and it has a clear metal Cuero logo on it. This bag is unmarked--no logos, no tags. Nothing inside or out. No materials tag or label for country of origin. The leather on this bag is supposed to be goat leather, but it looks **nothing** like the leather of my larger bag. It's like this one was pre-treated and colored, while my bigger favorite bag started very pale in color with a natural texture and has been worked into a beautiful darker brown over the years I've had it. This smaller bag feels like it's trying to be a copy of the better bag I own. Still, in the end, this bag looks like the picture and was inexpensive. I'm hoping it's real leather and will wear as nicely as my big bag, but only time will tell. Read more
