These are great lightbulbs. We used them in a ceiling fan light where you can see the bulbs. They are much prettier than more traditional looking bulbs. The 5000k color is quite white so it might be too harsh for some people using them in their homes. I happen to work at my dining room table so I like the white light and brightness. I also purchased another version that has a warmer color to use in another room. Read more

I wanted a bright bulb to put in new outdoor fixtures for our house - something other than standard frosted LED bulbs. These fit the bill nicely. They are bright without being eye-gouging. So far no failures, but they haven't gotten a lot of use yet. Read more

I switched back from standard led to the Edison bulbs. I have switched out all of my lights to Edison. Lasts long. I use daylight for kitchen task lighting as well as bathroom. Rest of lighting is warm white around 3000k average. Read more

These bulbs are ok. I was definitely expecting more out of them than what I got, considering the reviews. As far as their function: they turn on, they don’t flicker. That’s pretty much what you want out of a light bulb. However, I am very picky when it comes to them. I spend a lot of time reading reviews, researching, and trying to get the best value for my money. I am working on a barn remodel and wanted these because they claim 100 watt equivalent and they had the color option I wanted, plus they had great reviews and they were very affordable. However, after installing and waiting until it got dark to see how they look, they are definitely not 100 watt equivalent. I would say they are more 40-60 watt equivalent. Definitely not as bright as I was needing them to be. Across from the stalls that are pictured is the stalls that still have the standard 100 watt equivalent frosted glass led bulbs in them. When you look down the center of the barn, you can tell the right side is much brighter than the left. They are also not true to color across all bulbs. Out of 5 I have installed, one has a slightly different color hue than the others. The glass also seems to be very brittle. I have not broken one yet, but I was hesitant to even put them up because the glass seemed very thin and could possibly break easily. The light dispersion on these is also not true 360 coverage. They disperse light great out to the sides 360 degrees, but the light straight down from the bulb is very dim. These bulbs could work great for you given the right circumstances and how they’re installed, plus needing a cheap option. But if you’re as picky as I am and looking for something very specific, I would recommend going with another option. Read more
