These are a little longer than I was anticipating, but that's not necessarily A Bad Thing. I really like the level of resistance as a single strand and because of the length you can easily double up making it double the resistance. The material of the band seems extremely durable and should last a very long time. The value is really good considering you get 12. While it is just me and my family using them these could also be good for a class or a group event if you wanted to do something of that nature. Here’s my rating scale for products: 1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again. 2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better. 3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed. 4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product and would highly recommend to friends & family. I have used and even reviewed other similar pull up assist band products that didnt meet expectations, but this one surpasses them all with flying colors. Other resistance bands have lost a significant amount (75% or more)of its elasticity after even the first stretch. I'm happy to report this product still retained the rated 25 lbs of resistance after several full stretches. I did note thay from initial stretch to after first use each band extended in the relaxed position an average of 2-3 inches but this didnt affect overall performance. I used a combination of known weight dumbells and my pull up bar combined with my bathroom scale to measure the resistance of both 1 single band as well as 2 bands with 50 lbs then 65 lbs of weight. Resiults were consistant and passed with flying colors. My bath scale placed on a firm surface weighs a 25lb dumbell at 25.4 lbs. With a single 25 lb dumbell it reads 0.00 but I still had to apply (guessing) maybe 3-5 lbs of force to lift the dumbell with extended band around it off the scale. I suspected my scale may not be exceptionally accurate under 20 lbs as thats not what its designed for. So, I next checked it with (2) 25 lb weights on 1 band, (also 25.4lbs) and then 2 bands withthe same 2 weights (0.00 lbs) and then 2 bands with 65 lbs of weight (15.8 lbs). This whole experiment was performed at 36" stretch from a relaxed state to the floor. With this set of bands in confident you can thread your (up to all 12) bands over the pull-up bar, insert your feet into the bands at 36" stretch and get up to 300 lbs of potential lift based on my test results.
