Long time Rimmel brow pencil- 004 user. While it was never perfect especially come summer on my oily skin, it was better than other well known drugstore brands that were too soft to control the application on me. But it was getting hard to find the Rimmel even right here on Amazon and when I could find it the price and shipping time were just getting so ridiculous! So, I start reluctantly looking for alternatives. I came across these. I was extremely skeptical. I was sure they would just be a waxy, hot mess! WRONG! Fills in brows so nice! I use brow gel first. I have no tails to speak of so just hair on the main part of the brow. So after my brow gel sets, I feel in sparse areas then, connect the dots with the fews hairs I have left to create tails to make solid symmetrical eyebrows. Lines and color goes on smoothly and stays put! We'll see what happens in summer! Price point and quantity is excellent.! Seems to sharpen fine for me. Great product for natural Eyebrow look. This product is not for those who like those supper dark, exaggerated, block style eyebrows. It's not a gel base. It's a very good pencil though! Gonna buy more and I do recommend. Read more
I purchased with my own coins. I use brown coloring pencils every day for my eyebrows. I always need them on hand for daily use. I received the 12-piece eyebrow pencils in Dark Brown. First, let's chat about the color. The color is as described. It is a dark brown leaning a little to black. But it works for me. It is long-lasting as promised. Now for the easy-to-use. This is where the problem came in for me. This pencil every time I use I have to sharpen and that is not the norm with my other pencils. This means that they will not last as long as my other pencils. It does have a creamy texture and it is not a hard pencil. Would I purchase again? I do not think so. It is not a bad pencil. Just not what I am used to. There are 8 but they will not last long because I got to sharpen every day. I am happy I have 8 because of that. Read more
