I was concerned after reading some negative reviews. These arrived in a cheap plastic box that I won't use for further storage. I picked one at random, and trimmed my thumbnail. It worked very well. Then I used the file to dress the edge of the nail. The file worked pretty good. You can see from the pics, the file is nothing special. But the file does work. The file is made out of actual metal, with real teeth (not some sort of glued-on abrasive that can rub-off after one use). My wrinkly hands and jagged cuticles do not portend success for my future as a hand-model. Oh well. I just need a utilitarian tool to carry in my backpacks and car-consoles. These are very small-size clippers. Which I think is the whole point. Small portable clipper. And inexpensive. I paid about $8 delivered for a dozen sets of clippers. I mean, if they work at all, what's not to like. I really don't get it why other buyers negatively compare these to high-end clippers. The one I tested worked very well for the price. I suspect the one I tested will outlast me. But I'm old. You can't even buy a french-fry for less than a dollar. Highly recommended affordable and functional tool. Read more
I have played with these for twenty years when I quit smoking. The original fidget toy. I have many but my dogs steal them, break them and hide them. I finally found a treasure trove stash under their dog bed but I needed new ones so this set of ten was a solid choice to have some in the car, husbands car and around the house but out of reach of the dogs but nearby for me to fuss with. Pretty average, they get the job done. They’re a bit dull so it does take a little bit extra effort to use but it works, the little chains can be a bit loose too but it’s not too hard to bend them into shape. Read more
