Does a good job keeping the room cool use it at 74, Our windows are more modern so I had to do a little modification to get it to fit well (Cut and remove one area, use duct tape to seal it better than the foam). The sound when the compressor is running is a bit louder then expected based on their stats, but when the compressor is not running it is extremely quiet, I like the moving louvers to move the air better and it seems efficient since the energy usage is lower then the central air ran at night I tried to lower setting and it wasn't as cool at night. The remote is easy to use and understand and for the last month I haven't had to drain any water. I think it was a good value and recommend it, we use it in a 400 Sq ft room. Read more

What a lifesaver this unit is. I can't express enough how amazing it is. Cools the room super fast, the quietest unit I have ever used, easy to clean the filters, easy to install, direction are pretty self explanatory, and It is high quality. This unit cooled down a room around 900 sqft maybe a little more, in 10 minutes tops. Just make sure not to put anything on top of the unit. My son did on accident and it blocked the vents from pushing air out, That will also cause it to sound loud because the air is trying to push through it. It rolls which makes moving it around a breeze. I got it on sale for around $430...after taxes $450 and it was worth every penny. I will be keeping it around a possibly buying 1 more in case the A/C goes out in my house. Read more

Positives: Unit is easy to setup and use, cools effectively, brought 500 sqft space from 77°F to 68°F in about 45 minutes. Display screen is bright and clear, and can be dimmed or shut off completely for night use. Wing nut fastener for joining the window panels were robust and held firmly. Cons: Unit is very loud - advertised as 48dB, measured 53dB in lowest fan setting with compressor off, and 64dB in high fan with compressor running (measurement device about 8" in front of AC unit, out of airstream). The lack of an inverter resulted in very loud compressor cycling which woke us up through the night. The foam provided for the window panel is very thin and there is not enough to secure the panel in a 42" tall window. The panel is rated for up to 53" extension, which is useless without enough foam to secure it? Conclusion: If this unit will not be used in a bedroom and the noise is tolerable, it was fine. I would recommend paying slightly more to get a unit with dual hoses and an inverter, for the improved efficiency and noise levels. Read more

We purchased this unit for our loft that sometimes can get very warm during the summer. It is easy to hook up. Directions are clear. Works great. The unit cools off our area quickly. I love that it is on rollers and is easy to put away for the winter. The app was easy to install and is simple to use. At first I couldn't find the app in the app store. I contacted customer service by email and they fixed it quickly. Their customer service was friendly and easy to work with. That is a huge plus! Read more

I have had it for a month and ran it 180 hours. So far its fantastic and one of the best portable units i have ever used in about 5 different ones. it can be loud if you crank it but on sleep mode and low fan its pretty quiet. The app is easy to use and can be used remotely even when not home. the room its in is about the size of 2 large garages and in full sun the whole day. So far worth the money. This is a very efficient AC. Works well. Setup not difficult But this is not a good unit for a bedroom _ very noisy and when cycle changes it gets even louder we run it to cool the room then turn it off to sleep Read more

This unity was super easy to set up, the instructions were very straight forward. I tested this unit out in 75°F, 85°F, 95°F, and 101°F weather and this unit kept my apartment cool and comfortable. The sound isn’t any louder than a standard AC unit.
