This product is so well made. The app works great! The fact that I can control & check in on the temperature in the house is next level. I also appreciate being able to set schedules so that I can work around my work and energy savings schedule. The AC cools down the open concept living space much better than my old frigidaire unit, so everything else has been gravy. The evaporation tech is pretty decent! I had it running for nearly 500 hours before I decided to try and drain it pre heat wave. Very minimal water came out before using the Dry setting. With other units, it's usually much more than that and after a week of semi- continuous use. The Dry setting is very cool with the option to set a target humidity. The part that I like most about this unit is the attention to detail that went into the design and features. Every part fits into place perfectly, all the way down to the drainage hose (mostly companies just cut you a hollow piece of plastic). The on unit options are intuitive with a big screen to show details. The app is gorgeous and has so many extra features. Even the window adapter comes with a whole set of insulation materials to make sure you get just the right fit. I cannot tell you how satisfying it was sliding the panels into place. It just feels like a quality product where no shortcuts were taken. This air conditioner is amazing and was a lifesaver this summer. I was worried about not having central air but I didn't need with this unit. It comes with a QR code to set up the app on your phone. I work over an hour away and I was able to turn this unit on from work on the app so my place is cool down. When I got home. I had it in a mediumly large room and it cool down the entire room easily within an hour. It also doesn't maintain a lot of water. I've tried to empty it twice but never needed to. It's a little loud but I expect that with any AC unit and I didn't think it was unreasonably loud. Also, there's a sleep setting which makes it quieter too. Read more

It works great. It has a built in dehumidifier. That was an issue during really humid spells. The AC would shut off every couple of hours. I solved the problem by putting it up on blocks, opening the drains, putting a hose on the top drain out the window and a pan below the bottom one. All is good now. Probably should not have bought one with the dehumidifier in it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this a few weeks ago to replace a different unit I had which had short drain hose and I couldn't move the vents.. We live in San Diego and central AC is a rarity. So we used a portable AC in the hotter summer months. What I love about this Koviet unit is the instructions and controls are very clear, it has a long drain hose, it is sooo much quieter than the old one, AND connects to my phone via the Koviet app. My old one didn't do that! And, it blows very cold, sometimes too cold. Instead of flipping it on and off at all hours, it has a timer & sleep mode. Its a little big, which most of these types of portable Ac units are, but this one has wheels and moves around great. Dehumidify mode stopped working after 35 days. Constantly have to reset it and set it back up because it won’t always connect back to the internet even with 100% signal strength and 1000mbps up and down. Also it isn’t actually 14000 BTU it is actually 10,000 so don’t let them fool you. Also the hose is super super short and it does let out a lot of heat you might have to insulate the hose or get a completely new one because it’s 4 foot long. Man all around I wish this was a better unit. Also when I contacted KOVIET about the warranty they said they didn’t have another model and would have to refund it. Arrived in perfect shape. Not difficult to install. Works great!! Have it on an enclosed porch in SC without any air conditioning. Porch is about 400 sf and the unit allows us to use the porch even when it’s humid and in the 90s outside. So glad I bought it! We’ve had it about one month (June) and it has exceeded our expectations. Only drawback is it’s a little louder than my wife would like — but it doesn’t bother me at all. Read more
