very powerful I Must say !!! Took care of my heavy Truck this weekend trip to BigBear in snow roads. This is a wonderful product for all having big tricks, or farmers having tractors/big machines in their farm. Totally worth every penny. It is a peace of mind. Storing in the truck was easy and quickly started my f250 which generally can give me surprise failures. I hope this last more than my last Jump starter , more than 3 years at least. Used this to jump start a few tractors out in the field where I could not run cords and a charger to them. Gave a fast boost, tractor started right up and had enough power left to boost a 2nd tractor with out needing to recharge the unit. This is so much easier than using jumper cables. I can set unit right next to batteries and easily attach the cables. Works great out in the field and small enough to keep one in the tractor. Overall, very happy with the booster. I wasn't so sure about this jump box with the wacky name and cheesy sticker design, but the performance is what counts and this box performs. When fully charged I jumped a turbo diesel skid steer 6 times with no issue. Not sure how many more times it would have worked, but it didn't miss a beat. I don't think I'll be using the USB and cigarette adapter but they are a nice feature. This was meant to deliver the brute force to a 12 or 24v system of a large engine. The big plug on the back is what determines the voltage (12 or 24) and it is not "live" until it is plugged into one or the other. I think they could have made the plug less annoying but I suppose it works even though it is kind of clunky and gets in the way. My only other complaint is I wish the cables were just a bit longer which would mitigate some of the issues with the clunky plug getting in the way. Other than that it works great. Read more
I have a few family members who always end up stranded on the side of the road or their car wont start. Jumper cables magically disappear in my garage so I got this to throw in my car for emergencies. I, admittedly, am not a mechanical person. The specs and usages for this product are over my head but it has come in handy on one occasion to jump start a battery. Appears it has a lot of power and can be useful for a lot of reasons. The supplied light is a nice touch as well and it doesn't hurt the power in any noticeable way. This is very very heavy. I almost dropped the box when I went to carry it inside after delivery. The many different uses in a small form factor eases use in last minute or emergency reasons. Definitely a good product to have in your garage or car. Read more
I ordered this 3 months ago - and here it sat, until yesterday. First thing in the morning, we had a dead battery on a vehicle parallel parked on the street. This jump start machine saved everyone from being late to work and school! It was 75% charged, directly out of the box. There is a power level indicator and flashlight located on the front. This does have an unusal design where the socket needs to be plugged into the correct voltage plug, rather than flipping a switch to select. Once you know what to do, it's no big deal. This jump starter is a beast. It'll jump pretty much any vehicle except a semi and there are reports of people even jumping semis with it. It features a 22 Ah battery which is enough to jump a vehicle quite a number of times and/or to power other devices using the 12V cigarette lighter outlet or 2 USB outlets. Even though I could use my truck to charge my phone or other devices, the ignition has to remain on to do that. It's much nicer to be able to use the battery in this jump starter. I can also use my 12V tire inflator with it by plugging into the jump starter instead of my truck. It's just really handy to have such a good size battery bank in the truck for various uses and if I or anyone else I meet needs a jump it does that too. I like knowing that I have a jump starter in the truck for all of these situations and more and it's good to know I have one of the more powerful ones to take care of any situation I find myself in.
