Love the fact that there is a button to turn the unit off when not in use, and that there is blue backlighting to help during dark conditions and to also let me know if the unit is powered on. Although the energy draw is small, every little bit helps when on battery power. The only drawback is that the screw on the back used to tighten the unit to a bulkhead is a bit loose and has a habit of unscrewing over time. Not a deal breaker by any means.
