These markers and crayons are amazing, and saved us hundreds of dollars, and hours of work!! We were having a garage sale, and a mattress was brought over to be sold. It was placed on the floor in my living room, which immediately became a trampoline for my daughter and niece. Unfortunately, the mattress had large industrial type staples in the bottom that dig into my wood flooring with each and every jump. Plus, as they jumped, the mattress scooted, causing long, horrid scratches that could be seen across the room. In order to replace the 2 planks that were scratched, we would have to rip up half the floor, and likely having to replace most of the planks. While searching for another option, I came across several wood markers, and after researching them, and reading reviews, I decided to give the Katzco ones a try. SO GLAD I DID!!!!! I no longer have to be embarrassed of the white scratches and craters in my cherry walnut colored floors, and my husband no longer has to hear my complain endlessly about it (these may have saved my marriage, who knows???) The markers are clearly marked for their color, with caps to match, and the crayons are very realistic to the colors they say they are. Since our flooring is variated in colors, we actually used 2 different crayons and markers. The entire process was easy peasy! The wax is pretty thick, and did a great job filling in the cracks. The larger cracks/craters didn’t fill up 100%, but just with the wax, already looked a hundred times better. The markers were very easy to use. They are slanted, and the tip is perfect for thinner cracks. We just traced the cracks and then rubbed off any additional paint with a shop towel. A few of the deeper cracks took a couple of passes with the marker. It took less than 5 minutes to take my floor from UGH back to GORGEOUS! So glad to have found these, next is our dresser and nightstands. (I didn’t think to take pics until we were almost done with the floor.) Read more

For this price this repair kit is awesome! I’m obsessed, now I want to fix every scratch I find on my wood furniture around the house. Bold nice colors, good variety. Unfortunately Amazon didn’t let me upload the pictures before/after, but I really like it, the results are amazing. Recommend. If you add too much of a product, you can remove with nail polish remover. And it is important to wipe the excess immediately after applying, the product comes with a soft polishing cloth specifically for that. Read more

My partner and I recently bought a 140 year old home with original wood floors and wood work throughout. We had the floors refinished to their original beauty, but the baseboards and stair risers were a challenge. They were pretty banged up over years of use, and after the floors were redone all the nicks and scratches just stood out that much more. Our floor guy tried staining them, but it wouldn't take. The floors themselves took 9 coats of stain because they were so old. The painter tried using pens from a well known paint company, but they didn't work either. My partner found these and showed them to me, and eventhough they are meant for furniture we had nothing to lose. To our delight the pens worked incredibly well. It's like a magic marker for wood. I'm still amazed how well they worked. We have Black Walnut, Cherry wood, and Mahogany in our home so the variety of color choices are right on. I ordered 2 more packages because I didn't want to run out. The pens last a long time, but our home is over 3000 square feet, plus we have several wood furnishings. I have an old beat up book shelf that I usually try to hide because of all the imperfections, but after using these pens, a little wood oil and some elbow grease, the shelf looks brand new! I placed it in the entryway and I can't believe how great it looks. Our painter came back to do some minor touch ups and I showed him what I used and he couldn't believe it. He said he was going to buy them to keep in his arsenal, Lol! I Love this product. Thank you so much for making them! Read more

I have not used the wax crayons yet, but the stain markers are fantastic! We had some pretty big scrapes on our chairs after a move but I used the stain marker to make them less obvious and they look SO much better now (see before and after pics). You almost can’t tell all unless you shine a bright light directly on the area. These were such an affordable fix for our furniture, love these so much!! Read more

No idea how these have any good reviews. I'm seriously questioning the ones I read. The crayons are not going to work if the wood has any sort of texture to it. As in, ANY. Texture. Period. Maybe for a tiny nick, but they just go on patchy on the area I was trying to patch, and they leave a shine that doesn't match the wood. The markers are a joke. DRIED OUT! When I tried to see if I could revive them I discovered this large fat marker is a tiny nib (see photo) and was not in any way revivable with a little moisture. There just isn't enough ink in these things to revive. I bought with Amazon Prime... free returns, right? WRONG! NO RETURNS because they claim they contain TOXIC materials they can't ship.... ummmm, they shipped it to me, but apparently can't have it shipped back. The only way I found this out was when I tried to return it. I could not find that listed on the page. they clearly don't make that important fact known when you are looking to purchase. I feel SCAMMED! Not only do they sell you a bad quality product, but they are deceptive in how they portray it. I would give zero stars if I could. Another junk product that is a fail. I would have had more luck going to the craft store... in the U.S. ...and buying a box of crayons and cheap markers. Those at least would have had more product in them, and better quality. Read more
