It's been 2 or 3 weeks since I first used these pens on my shoes and left a 5-star review. It turns out the pens are a solid 2.5 stars. It took 2-3 coats to cover the dirt evenly on my white rubber shoe soles. Hours of my time over 3 days, but I thought they turned out great! The description on Amazon said they could be used on Rubber and on Shoes. That's why I bought them. However, the shoes are getting dirty incredibly fast. In another week, it will look like I didn't use this pen at all. And I am very gentle with these shoes too, but now they are picking up dirt 10x faster than before. Also, I gave this pen to a colleague to use when she needed white-out. It was so embarrassing! It took her three coats on paper to hide one thin line of Crayola purple marker. I only recommended the pen because using it for white-out was written in the Description. However, the Fine tip point itself does hold up. This pen could be good for decorative uses... just do not use it for anything functional. I want to be kind and give 3 stars... but I can't. I wasted a ton of time, wasted money buying them, and I humiliated myself in front of a fellow professional. 2 stars. Sorry Sellers. - original post- I accidentally wore my 'good sneakers' during heavy yard work and destroyed the white rubber side-soles with dirt and stains. I tried scrubbing them clean but stained is stained. I decided to try this product, or I would have needed new shoes. So far these pens are great. The tip is very fine for a paint pen, and it maneuvers around detail well. However on an angle, the pen covers enough surface area that the project moves along at fair speed. I just finished one coat on one shoe. It will definitely need a second coat to cover everything evenly, but with all the pens that come in the box, I think I will have plenty until the job is done. Now I have to see how durable the paint is. If I have any problems I'll update. So very I'm very glad I made the purchase. Read more

Well Worth The price. They don't interfere or mix with dark ink once let dry. Very nice sharp tips. No need to push down a lot while writing. Good speed. I am not sure how long they take to dry because I am in the zone. Definitely worth it for 8 of them! yes Durable. Read more

UPDATE: Sadly, I must report that these turned out to not be all that great. What happens is that the pens are super fantastic for about the first week after you activate one. Then they just stop working. No matter if you are cleaning off the tip after use, storing in the proper way, etc. They just clog up - in fact, they clog up worse than some others I have tried. This will teach me to not get too excited at first use lol. Considering that you only have a week to use one of them up after activation, these are somewhat pricey. Back to trying to find a white paint pen that actually lives up to my standards of needing it to work for more than a week. ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you are on the fence about ordering these, jump down now and order them! I have used many different 'white pens' in an attempt to find the best, most opaque white pen for my various art needs. These are heads and shoulders above anything I have ever used. So much so, I ordered a back up set and the black set as well. These are perfect on dark or black paper. They are perfect to add highlights and POP to coloring pages. They are perfect to add touch ups, highlights and POP to your watercolor and acrylic paintings. TIP: To keep them super fresh, use one of those food saver vacuum sealer devices to seal up the pens you are not going to use right away. It's better than just putting in a zip lock bag. Read more
