Why did I wait so long to get a food processor, The wife has been riding my butt like Seabiscuit to get her one and I finally broke down and bought one, after my research I kept coming back to this Magiccos machine and I am so happy I purchased this one, grading cheese.. excellent, hash browning my potatoes... super EZ, all in all I am very pleased with my purchase this machine has exceeded expectations, great time saver, light weight, easy to use and clean and the best part IMO is the storage compartment having all the attachments in the processor is wonderful. Due to a lack of counter space, I have only allowed myself one blending device for a couple of decades. For several years I had a Ninja (the first model) that I never really liked and I was happy to let it go when I got a great deal on a classic Vitamix. I used that daily for over 14 years and when I moved across several state lines this year I decided to let it go and upgrade to a newer model when I got settled. The one I purchased was over $400 and although the container was larger and easier to clean than my classic model, its blending capability could only be described as feeble. I contacted customer service and could purchase an additional, narrower pitcher for $150 that might possibly work better...but it might not. I decided to return it and look at food processors. I haven't had a food processor since the early to mid 90's so I read a bunch of reviews and chose what I thought would serve my purposes best. I could not be more pleased with my choice! The Magiccos 14 cup Processor arrived early and in perfect condition. Though, I have to say, when I picked up the box to bring it in the house I was VERY skeptical. It was so LIGHT. All I could think of was that it was one of those "Dollar-Store-Quality" items you so frequently get from Amazon. I took it out of the box and stared at it for a couple of days trying to decide if I should try it out or just return it. I figured since I had already returned the Vitamix I may as well give it a shot. The base is very light. My Vitamix was a heavy beast and the old Cuisinarts were quite hefty, as well. The storage drawer was worth the extra money as one of the things I disliked about food processors was storing all the blades and attachments. I also like that the spinning element is an enclosed housing. I makes the bowl so much easier to clean. Operationally, it blends even better than my classic Vitamix did...and way better than the processors of old. It is a little loud, but still quieter that the Vitamix and Ninja. Because the base is so light, when it begins to blend it will rock a little bit. Easily managed by placing my hand on top for the first few seconds. This would be completely solved if the only flaw I have found could be corrected. The "feet" are floppy rubber discs which are completely ineffective. If Magiccos would replace those with something more like a suction cup the "rocking" issue would disappear. In short, if you are looking for a good quality, effective processor, you should at least consider the Magiccos 14 cup! Read more

The media could not be loaded. This food processor is perfect for home use and has a lot of useful features that have made my food preparation much easier. One of the best features of this food processor is its large feed chute, which makes it easy to process large quantities of food at once. The built-in storage drawer is also very convenient, as it allows me to store the different blades and attachments in one place, so they are always within easy reach. The Magiccos food processor is also very versatile and can be used for a wide range of tasks, including cheese shredding, meat chopping, slicing, mixing, and doughing. I have used it to make everything from pizza dough to vegetable soups, to make my own ground beef and it has performed exceptionally well every time. Overall, high-quality food processor that is easy to use, versatile, and efficient. Its numerous features and functionalities make it an excellent investment for any home cook. Read more

Decent food processor but has issues: PROS Decent slicing and dicing Fairly intuitive operation Storage drawer for tools is GREAT Successful shredding of cheese Successful slicing peppers and onions Have been able to make recipes which require more slicing and chopping than previously could because of arthritis CONS Plastic parts seem fragile Machining of metal parts not great Parts lock into place but can’t be unlocked Had to use a rubber mallet to unlock bowl Currently, cutting blade is stuck on spindle. Can’t remove it. May have to buy a replacement spindle Overall, I should have paid the higher price to get top-rated processor to avoid these frustrations. Currently this processor can be purchased for 30-50% less than posted Amazon price. Not sure it’s worth more than $100. Read more
