Reliable Ketone Testing Made Easy: Keto Mojo Ketone Strips Review

JamalMay 20, 2023

Ketosis is a critical aspect of the ketogenic diet, and accurately measuring ketone levels is essential for tracking progress. The Keto Mojo Ketone Strips have become an integral part of my keto journey, allowing me to monitor my ketone levels with convenience and precision. Before delving into the specifics, let’s briefly explain what ketone strips are and what they do. Ketone strips are small paper-like strips that detect the presence and concentration of ketones in the body, specifically beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB). By providing a color-coded scale, these strips enable users to gauge their level of ketosis quickly. One observation I’ve made while using the Keto Mojo Ketone Strips is that sometimes, even when in a state of strong ketosis, the strips may not register as intensely on the color scale. This occurrence can be attributed to the fact that the body is efficiently utilizing the ketones, resulting in lower levels being excreted and detected by the strips. While this can initially be perplexing, it’s important to understand the underlying physiological processes at work. What sets the Keto Mojo Ketone Strips apart is their reliability and ease of use. I appreciate the consistency and accuracy they offer, providing me with peace of mind when monitoring my ketone levels. The strips deliver clear and discernible results, empowering me to make informed adjustments to my diet and lifestyle. In terms of convenience, the Keto Mojo Ketone Strips are straightforward to use. Simply obtain a small urine sample, dip the strip into the liquid, and wait for the allotted time. The color change on the strip corresponds to the level of ketosis, allowing you to track your progress and ensure you’re staying within your desired range. Although the Keto Mojo Ketone Strips have proven to be reliable in my experience, it’s worth noting that individual variations may exist due to factors like hydration levels and metabolism. It’s always wise to interpret the results in conjunction with other indicators of ketosis, such as energy levels, appetite suppression, and overall well-being. In summary, the Keto Mojo Ketone Strips have become a valuable tool in my ketogenic journey, providing reliable and convenient ketone testing. While the color scale occasionally may not reflect the full extent of ketosis, it’s important to recognize the body’s efficient utilization of ketones. These strips offer consistent results, enabling users to make informed decisions and adjustments along their keto path. If you’re committed to tracking your ketone levels accurately, the Keto Mojo Ketone Strips are a worthwhile investment. Read more

Better than I originally thought

P. WellsAugust 4, 2023

updated - 8/14/2023 So I have continued to use these and I have had 0 additional strips that failed to register a reading. I said that I would continue to use these and then revisit the review if things changed. So several things, 1. the seller contacted me without being asked. The fact that they would reach out asking if they can help without me contacting them, that is good for them. 2. I haven't had any more fail to register strips so I will chalk the first few strips to a fluke. In light of these 2 things I updated this review to 5 stars. 150 strips for $10? I mean... that's cheap, these strips seem to do a perfectly fine job if I ignore the first few strips I used. The fact that the vendor was proactive about making sure I was happy. Yeah, 5 stars. I used to use ketone strips. 2 decades ago I lost a ton of weight doing essentially Keto (Atkins). I used ketone strips all the time to track progress. Fast forward to now and trying to lose some extra weight, I'm using a mix of intermittent, and extended fasting and Keto and wanted to track my progress. I ordered these strips thinking ketone strips are all the same. Well in this age where it seems Keto is the current darling diet, everybody is selling them and at least these ones don't seem to be as good as the ones I purchased back in the day. I just finished a 4 day fast. I tested these strips multiple times over the course of this most recent fast and the first half dozen sticks failed to even register. People who do keto or have done it for any length of time know the taste and the smell when you are in ketosis. I know how my mouth tastes and what it smells like when I use the bathroom. Maybe I just got a few bad strips? The last couple tests they worked well, I was able to see that I was indeed in ketosis. I experienced a lot of no-readings or false negatives with these. I was going to return them but decided to just see how it goes over the next month. I will update this in a few weeks if the first failures were a fluke. Read more

Keep the Cap Screwed On

Shu the MoodyNovember 26, 2025

I've tried multiple brands, but this one has been the most consistent and sensitive in my experience. Others are not as sensitive right at opening. The only issue is that these do degrade. 9 months in, I've noticed less sensitivity or the colors will be less saturated (shift more grey). Leave the cap open for a few days, especially in a humid bathroom, and they'll be useless. Keep the cap tightly on at all times and the silica pack in there. Read more

👍 ok GREAT reat‼️…if you stay hydrated.

DAugust 26, 2025

These are nowhere near as accurate as the blood test but they will give you a good general idea of where you’re at without having to poke your finger. 🩸 😃 ⚠️ These are NOT and should not be used to monitor true ketone levels as they only offer a nice baseline estimate. For example, ketones concentrate in the urine overnight & so morning readings will show as drastically higher than what they actually are. Whereas a blood ketone test indicates as the actual level of ketones circulating in the blood. The same results will occur for those who are less hydrated & therefore have higher concentrations of ketones in their urine. I use these in conduction with a blood ketone kit and a continuous glucose monitor for a better overall picture of what’s going on in my body & for fun to see which foods affect me more. So many foods have hidden carbohydrate sources, especially in the United States where labeling practices are sketchy at best & anything less than 2% does not even have to be listed on US labels🤨. Super sweeteners are often snuck into foods because of this loophole but they don’t seem to affect blood sugar and therefore ketones but there’s a ton of “fiber“ that is an actuality a simple carbohydrate once ingested. 👌 👍 👍 Tools like these simple to use strips are awesome ways to observe, gather data 📊 & assist your health journey💗 Read more
