Use these for my self-filling pet fountain in my bathroom that our cats and dogs use all of the time. The pump tends to get clogged pretty quickly if there is no filter to trap all of the hair that comes with having more than a few pets. I couldn't find a replacement filter specific to my pump. These fit perfectly and do a great job of keeping the debris out of the pump and helps to keep the fountain running clean much longer. While I didn't have a filter in the pump, I was cleaning the pump motor several times throughout the week. Since installing one of these filters, it ran for a week with no problems. It is super easy to slide the filter out, rinse it and put it right back in. After running with these filters for two weeks I opened up the pump to clean it and there was handly anything to clean up, The filter worked great at not only keeping the gunk out, but also let the pump run free and clear the whole time. So far I have only used one, but it is nice knowing that I have plenty of spares. As an added bonus, I have a similar type of pump in one of our small fish tanks that has a spot for a filter but never had one. I installed one of these and that pump as never worked better. These are remarkably similar to the filters that came with my cat's fountains and I haven't had an issue using them in any of them. I use a Pet Libro Dockstream and they fit great. Most of the square cat fountain pumps are the same, so if you have one of the small square pumps, this will most likely fit. I got the pack of 16, so I'll have enough of these to last a long time, so I've decided to split the pack with my mom who also has fountains for her cat. Even with half a pack these will last a long time since if you clean your fountains regularly they won't get gunked up and need replacing every time.
