I bought this voltage converter specifically for a trip to Europe after reading everywhere that U.S. Dyson hair dryers do not work overseas—even with adapters. I was honestly skeptical, but this converter works flawlessly. I used it with my American Dyson hair dryer on European electricity, and it performed exactly the same as at home: full power, no overheating, no strange noises, and no shutdowns. I used it daily throughout my trip with zero issues. If you’re traveling to Europe and don’t want to give up your Dyson (or risk frying it), this converter actually does what it promises. It worked great on our trip with european power on board a ship, with easy to fit adapters for any where. It was virtually silent and no excessive heat. Not too heavy either, but maybe a pound or two in the luggage. Never get an adpater, get a converter to get the right voltage. Read more

I’m traveling from U.S. to Georgia. This device is a life saver. It has a safety off button and it evens port the power flow for the devices. It allows to use two devices at a time. It also has a cooling fan. It worked well in my transit through Paris. I assume it would work anywhere in Europe. Read more

Works great up to 1600W total, and if something goes wrong, you have someone to talk to. I have purchased two already; one is still working for over 7 months, and the second converter failed after 2 months. So I contacted the manufacturer, and they shipped a replacement via Fast UPS Delivery to Israel, and I received it within a week. Great customer service. Thank you! Read more

Bought this for my wife as she as taking a trip to India and wanted to use her Dyson Airwrap there. Didn’t want to spend another $500+ on a Dyson just to use it in another country. This is absolutely a phenomenal product created by the manufacturer to use in countries with 220 voltage. I was skeptical at first, but saw the reviews, detailed description and took the chance. My wife showed me that it didn’t overheat or damage her airwrap, and worked exactly as it does here in the US with 120 voltage. Definitely moneys worth! The weight might be just under 2lbs when packing in luggage. Read more
