Very impressed! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
I am very impressed with this little Natrial 1600w hair dryer. I’ll admit my initial impression from the packaging was underwhelming but then I used this and fell in love. This has 3 wind speeds and 3 heat settings as well as a dedicated cool shot button. If you’ve never had a hair dryer with this many options, please treat yourself as it will change how you feel about blow drying your hair. In a world of only high or low as an option this changes the game. But Natrial didn’t stop there they also included 2 magnetic concentrators attachments and a magnetic diffuser attachment! These clip in and out very easily and the concentrators spin freely so you can quickly change the direction of the air, depending upon on your needs. The attachments do snap in and out of the base in a strange way, almost like a hybrid between a clip on and a magnetic attachment. They are magnetic, and this doesn’t seem to affect the use at all. The magnets are nice and strong and hold the pieces on the way they’re supposed to. I just can’t figure out what it is I’m feeling there, but I don’t think it’s a defect. It’s just maybe not as seamless as some others I’ve tried. This is super lightweight, but doesn’t give the impression that it’s a cheap plastic device that will break after the fifth use. I feel like they skimped on the presentation so they could pack more in the box for the customer to appreciate. I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now and I love it. I’m left handed and often find buttons are in the wrong spot for me to easily use things without accidentally changing the settings but these buttons were well placed. The power button on the back you toggle up and down for on and off but there is also a lock option so if you’re worried you will hit the selection buttons on the front by accident you can just pick your needed settings, then push the power button to lock position and no matter which button you may accidentally select your settings will stay the same. Using this on high wind and high heat settings, I was able to dry my hair in almost no time at all. I personally have very fine, thin, straight hair so I don’t have to be careful with my blow drying due to worries about tangled or issues with natural curls. Having said that because my hair is so thin, I have issues with getting volume at the root, and this is where this blow dryer was really able to shine for me. The concentrator attachment really managed to get in at the root area and apply the heat I needed in order to get the lift I wanted so my hair wasn’t completely flat and limp. I also found that while many of the blow dryers out there claim to tame frizz and leave you with a very glossy shine that doesn’t generally happen for me. My hair often will look dull or have quite a few flyaways post blow dry. I didn’t have this happen with this dryer, my hair looked sleek and professional, and as though I had just walked out of the salon, having paid to have it done versus being at home and saving money and doing it myself. This is nice and lightweight. You have plenty of attachments for whatever you need to do whether you’re just drying with the dryer itself, adding the concentrator for a rough dry or the thin concentrator for a smooth sleek look. I don’t have a need for the diffuser, but the fact that there’s a diffuser included makes me appreciate the fact that it will be there when my curly haired roommate decides to borrow this, which I know she will. It’s an amazing blow dryer. I didn’t find that my arm got fatigued while giving myself an at home blowout. This was nice and lightweight very well balanced, easy to hold and surprisingly quiet to use. The cord on this was a good length without being so long you’ll be tripping over it and also had an included cable management tie. When using this, you have a dedicated cool shot button as I mentioned above plus the 3 wind speeds and 3 heat settings. When you select a windspeed or heat setting a light lights up next to that button so you know which level you’re on so there’s no question as to what you selected. It’s not as flashy as some of the ones that have a full light up back or give you an actual temperature readout, but I have tried those, I like this one better. Also of note, when you hit the cool shot, it turns the heat down so that no lights are lit up in the heat section, but in order to turn the heat back on, you can either hit the cool shot button a second time which will return the heat to the setting you had it out before you hit the cool shot or you can hit the heat button and it will cycle the heat back on. I like that you’re able to hit either one of these buttons to reengage the heat that way. To sum up, this is a great little blow dryer. The presentation left a little to be desired but it’s something that can easily be forgiven because of the beauty of what’s in the box. My hair looked awesome and I’ve received several compliments since I started using this Natrial blow dryer. I can’t recommend this enough and definitely suggest you give it a try. Oh and keep the filter clean! It makes all the difference in the world with these brushless motor style of dryers. Read more
