This MP3 player is so much more than its name suggests. You might think you don’t need one of these, and honestly, you might be right, but it’s incredibly good at what it does. At its core, this is essentially a compact Android tablet running Android 13. If you’re familiar with Android, you’ll feel right at home. It connects to the Google Play Store, and I was able to install my favorite music player apps and even YouTube. Yes, it plays YouTube videos smoothly. I loaded all my MP3s (and even some OGG files) onto the device without issue. You can transfer files by connecting it to your computer via USB or simply removing the microSD card if you an SD slot in you computer or a card reader. Music playback is excellent, and I even tested some videos. While it struggled with 4K playback (it locked up), 1080p and lower-resolution videos ran without any problems. Streaming worked great, I was able to log in and play music from Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Audible. The built-in FM radio works well too, as long as you’re using wired headphones (they double as the antenna). The screen is bright and clear, and the battery held up well. After three hours of use, it was still at 63%, so battery life seems solid. Bluetooth pairing was smooth with two different sets of headphones, and wired headphones also performed great. I’ve been using it at the gym and around the house as a dedicated media player, which frees up our phones. While it doesn't offer anything a smartphone can’t, if all you need is a focused media player, this one is a fantastic option. Read more
This has been working very well. Connects with ease to my Airpods and and soundcore space A40s with no issue. I use these mostly for work. I work maintenance and the batter lasts me the whole shift and doesn't even get to 50% usage. It is very simple to get my music onto the device and use the HIBY music app to make playlists and listen to the tracks. It has apple music, chrome, spotify, amazon music, pandora and video player apps installed. The device is very lightweight and brings usb c charger and a set of wired headphones as well as a protective cover and a screen protector of sorts. it's not tempered but can help until you can get one. All in all it's a great player for work, or workouts and the sorts. Highly recomended. Read more
For the price, this is a pretty good little mp3 player. The added mini SD allows for storing LOTS of music. It's a nice, compact size and the Android OS makes it feel familiar (if you're an Android user). The only drawbacks: the pre-installed music player isn't very good, so delete it and find another in the Play Store. The absence of a volume equalizer is frustrating. The user manual is of little help. It basically tells you what all the buttons do, but there's no information about how to load your own music onto it. I eventually figured it out. That said, so far I'm pleased with it as a replacement for my dying iPod Touch. Read more

I bought the MECHEN 160GB MP3 Player mainly for offline music, and it’s been great so far. Setup was simple, and having Android 13 means I can download my favorite apps from the Play Store, like Spotify and Audible, without any extra steps. The storage is more than enough for my entire music collection, plus some audiobooks and videos. Bluetooth connection to my earbuds is stable, and WiFi works fine for streaming. The touchscreen isn’t super high-end, but it’s responsive enough for everyday use. Battery life is decent, lasting me through a couple of days of normal listening. If you’re looking for a dedicated music player so you don’t drain your phone battery, this is a solid choice. Read more

I'll keep it simple. It's like a mini cellphone with no camera. Can do your basic needs for a mp3 player with a built in speaker but I only give it a 2 star because the battery life isn't very good. If it's connect to wifi I dies quicker. The battery will die sitting idle with screen off in 24 hours which I was expecting to be longer. Read more
