I used the suction cup type sponge holder for years. They just didn't hold up well and constantly fell off the curve in my sink. This drapes over the divide between the sinks and hold both the sponge and the stopper. I love it. I imagine that once a week I'll need to lift it and wipe underneath just to keep it sanitary.
