After a traumatic dislocation from falling of my bike I had to have them relocate my shoulder at the ER. I was worried I would be out of work for 2-3 weeks but 35 hours after dislocation I’m back to work thanks to this brace. The stability it provides is night and day. I could feel my shoulder wanting to come out of place as I began my shift but the brace saved me in that moment. I’m being very mindful and not doing to much with my arm, it hurts but I’m managing. This brace was worth every penny I can’t say enough good things. Buy it. Read more

Not sure where all the good reviews came from, but this is definitely not a support brace. I initially bought it to wear in the gym, but if I lift my arm it creates a huge gap at the top and is not form fitting. Its adjusted as tight as I can and still no support. Hard pass for me. Returning. Read more

I wish I could give a 3.5. There are pros and cons. First, I paid $25, not $50. Second, as another reviewer stated, when I bought this I could swear Amazon showed a larger number of reviews and a 4.6 or 4.7 rating. Now I question the reliability of ratings. Functionally, I didn’t have high expectations but I have to say it is working for me, for what I need. It’s a little clumsy, you have to fiddle with it to fit properly - for me that was getting it not too high on the shoulder. Yes, as you move around it will move too but generally stays where it’s supposed to. I wear it under a t-shirt to help keep it in place. I have pain in my shoulder when I think is an undiagnosed rotator cuff problem. I bought the support to reduce the discomfort when I play golf. To my surprise I was no bothered too much by the feeling of wearing it and it truly helped reduce the impact of swinging the golf club and, hence, the pain. This is not a miraculous solution but it has been effective for me. Important to reiterate it was $25. I would not pay $50. Read more

The concept for the shoulder brace is a great idea. When you get it adjusted properly, it's wonderful, however the strap moves far too much and does not stay in one place. I believe the material may be too smooth, It just does not work because it the straps won't stay in place. it's probably more suited for a man than a woman with a chest. Read more

First of all I had to take away 1 star for the fact that the instructions for how to put on were in microscopic print- at least the listing shows instructions in a much larger photo, which helped. Secondly, brace smells to high heaven when coming oui of little bag-like burning tires-but they do state to wash it before wearing (but no washing instructions). I washed in a very gentle plant based soap and added odo-ban to water and let it soak for about 15 minutes. Then squeezed out most moisture with a towel and hung up to dry. It does not form fit to upper shoulder despite how I adjust, but the fact that it can be worn under clothing is a plus. UPDATE: FYI-At the time of purchase, the review ratings were at 4.7 (the reason I bought it). Now ratings are at 3.3! I'm not sure how the ratings can change so drastically in 1 week. But to stick with the product itself. When I couldn't get the top of the shoulder portion to lay flat. I readjusted the velcro to the little compartment for icepacks or heat. That helped only minimally. Then, because I wasn't intending to use either, I cut off that extra compartment, and now the brace fits a lot better. Read more
