I'm not against fluoride and will be sticking to that in the long term as I don't really care about whitening. However I thought I'd give this a try. I didn't use it for a long period to verify its long term effectiveness but did check on the shorterm. First it has a nice mint flavor. Second the toothpaste itself seems to give a cleaner feel than my current regimen. I drink a lot of sugary drinks which often leaves my mouth feeling kind of blah after some time. This seemed to help mitigate this. If I had to guess it is the probiotics since I normally chase my flouride toothpaste with a mouthwash that kills everything good and bad in my mouth. I will not give up fluoride toothpaste completely, but I was open to cutting back to just once a day and trying a new toothpaste to see if it improved my teeth at all. I am a coffee, tea and wine drinker who also loves to eat blueberries, so my teeth have never been movie star white. I certainly didn't look as bad as the before picture on here, but kids I work with have pointed out my coffee teeth in the past. Gentle whitening was definitely the goal when I bought this. I only used it once a day and my fluoride toothpaste is also a whitening formula, so it's hard to say this made a lot of difference, but I do see a little. The main reason I had to write this review, though, is that my last few dentist visits had been a but stressful. They were worried about my enamel showing weakness. Well, I went in last week and the hygienist and dentist both saw improvement! I haven't been doing anything else differently with my teeth, just trying out this toothpaste! I am very happy that my dentist is so happy. They agreed I shouldn't give up fluoride completely, but Asa once a day toothpaste this seems to get everyone's stamp of approval! Read more

I’ve just started using the SP-8 Probiotic Whitening Toothpaste, and I have to say—I’m pretty impressed. You get two tubes in the pack, which is nice because I like having one for home and one for travel. The minty taste is really pleasant—not too strong, not too sweet—and it leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh without that overpowering sting some whitening pastes have. I drink a fair amount of tea and the occasional glass of red wine, so I was curious to see how it’d handle the stains. After using it consistently twice a day, I can definitely see a brighter smile starting to peek through. I also like that it has probiotics in it. I hadn’t tried a probiotic toothpaste before, but I figure anything that helps my gums and keeps my breath fresh longer is worth a shot. So far, no irritation, and my teeth feel super smooth and clean after each use. It only takes a few minutes to brush, and it doesn’t make a mess or leave weird residue like some pastes do. Trying these generic brand toothpastes has me unsure about long term use. Theres no real negative signs yet really but the whole flouride-free idea is odd to me. They make that sound like a plus side to the toothpaste but flouride is very normal and actually recommended to maintain tooth health. I've heard some people mention with these toothpastes that it makes their teeth feel cleaner for longer and even at the first use I kind of get what they are saying, my teelth felt very smooth for some reason, but again it just kind of makes me feel a little uneasy having a mouth feel that isn't necessarily normal compared to common toothpastes. I'm just going to say ask your dentist their opinion, but I'm a little skeptical. Read more

The paste itself is thicker then the more common brand toothpastes that are out there which I myself enjoy. It allowed my teeth to feel that there was paste on everyone. Which is personally a plus for me. It left my mouth feeling clean and so far does what a toothpaste should do. It's great in quality because it does have certain ingredients to help keep, maintain and strengthen my gums and teeth. Read more
