My Yorkie (1yo) and hound (5yo) are both quite playful -- and aggressive and destructive chewers when it comes to their toys (especially my terrier.) They love any toy with a squeaker and will destroy it within 20 minutes to get to the part that makes noise. I've spent a small FORTUNE on dog toys! These squeaky balls, however, have lasted the week and look like they'll survive for some time! And both dogs LOVE them. They're also a good size: Too large for either to bite into and swallow little pieces of plastic. I'll likely buy more. Not because they're not holding up well, but because my dogs like them so well. My dog loves these balls, and I do too since the spikes keep his goo far away from my fingers when I pick up the ball to throw it. He lives to have his ball thrown and he loves the ones that squeak (and he squeaks them a LOT to entertain himself between throws). These don't smell as bad as some do when they arrive, usually a wash and then letting them air out in the sun for a week is enough to completely clear the smell. I have about a million of these by now so I can't say how much play one gets on average but I only have to throw away about one every two months because it's finally falling apart. Pros: 1. Keeps the ooky goo away from me, 2. light enough to throw in the house with relatively little risk to breakables or my head, and 3. has very little odor. And it even fits into a chuck-it thrower (with a slightly modified throw to launch it) so it's fun outside too. Cons: 1. it can be squeaked about a thousand times before it dies.. my dog might list this under his pros but sometimes I have to take it away from him for a while just to get some peace. I ordered one, but it got lost. So then I ordered this 6-pack. My dog LOVES them and now there's several about the house. Do is very small, but the little grip tips make it easy for him to latch on. They also have a little bounce to them which I like. 1 missing star is that they are not entirely chew proof. After some time, they loose a little bounce from being chewed, but otherwise hold up very well. Get the 6-pack for a lot of bang for your buck. Read more

My dogs love these balls. So far, I have not lost any of them due to chewing. I do keep them from my destructive German Shepherd when he is not playing with them. My medium sized mixed breed dog plays with them all the time and has not even dented them. The bristles on them are soft enough to not hurt the dogs mouths. The only "problem" I have with them is they tend to get lost under/behind furniture LOL. The price for the lot of them is very reasonable, especially considering they last so long. My dog absolutely loves these. I'm on my second pack because these are about the only thing she wants to play with. She does manage to get them to stop squeaking relatively quick, but she doesn't mind, and neither do I 😂. These, unlike some other brands I've bought off Amazon as well, tend to hold up better and don't fall apart like the others.
