We purchased the small size and they are great for our enthusiastic Boston terrier who lives to fetch. They are small enough that he can snag them out of the air without being too big to fit in his mouth. Charlie is 12 pounds and they are too large to be a choking hazard. If you're wondering how big these are, they are a couple sizes up from a ping pong ball. They squeak wonderfully and last a long time as long as we put them away when fetch is over- Charlie dislodges the squeaker in minutes if we let hem have the ball just to chew on. These are a tough but soft rubber with a nice amount of bounce. Read more

I will buy these for my dog his whole life. He is OBSESSED. Yes they do fall apart eventually.....first the speaker gets lost and then it starts to crack and separate but that's fine. They last long enough. His mouth sometimes ends up smelling a little like rubber but whatever. Also it's the perfect size for fitting in his mouth. He is 15 pounds Read more

My dog is so goofy with these balls! They are a soft rubber so he enjoys gnawing on them when he's tired of fetching. They aren't so thin that he can rip them apart right away. All the dogs love these balls at the park. I have a bigger Daschund and the small size is perfect for him. Now that he's a year and a half, his mouth is finally big enough for him to catch it! I have a small 18 lb dog. She loves these. They are soft enough that she can catch them when playing fetch. The squeaker tends to come out and stay inside the ball after awhile, but we primarily use them for playing fetch. Weβve ordered these 3 times when they either wear out or get lost. I think they make a larger version for bigger dogs. Read more

I originally didn't care for the balls because my dog would tear them up easily but I have tried other since and so far they actually do last longer than the others. Read more

The picture is from when he drops the ball in the bath tub and I throw it. It's his favorite game! They are really durable! He's very hard on them but these hold up! Read more

My 15 lb. mutt loves these size small balls. They are soft enough for her to bite and squeeze for a squeak, yet thick enough so as to last awhile. Eventually she manages to wear them down but it takes a few months. These are the ONLY balls she likes. Read more

I have a Minn-Pinn / Daschund mix, only 14lbs. I bought this same ball in a pet store two weeks ago. My dog has been chewing on it obsessively ever since with very little damage to it and no bits of rubber breaking off. He loves the ball so much I decided to order three more to keep in various places, like my car and in his travel backpack. I ordered the same exact ball that I bought in the store. He destroyed these new balls in minutes, with little bits of rubber breaking off easily, creating a choking hazard. These are NOT the same as the one I bought in the store. I don't know if they changed the rubber compound or what, but I would advise against these. I'm going back to the store and buying a bunch of these before they start getting the newer inferior ones.
