Not bad for sleep but I wouldn't use them for a concert

I also really question the validity of the 45dB noise reduction claim. With these in my ears they didn't seem any better than in-ear earbuds with similar silicone tips, much less expanding foam earplugs. There's no way these are as noise reducing as typical foam earplugs, and those are normally only rated at 33dB. I was about to give these 4 stars, but upon thinking about it, that claim really feels like intentional false advertising. They're not uncomfortable though, and I appreciate the included case and eartip sizes. Read more

Good alternative to more expensive "concert" earplugs

A nice kit overall, with different size tips and a hard shell case. The case is bulky so I prefer to keep them in smaller container when traveling. These are designed mostly for concerts or maybe just walking around in noisy city areas so you can enjoy some peace and quiet while still being able to hear important sounds around you. They work great in the club or concert hall when the music is obnoxiously loud - you can hear the music clearly, yet still converse with people. Comfortable and easy to adjst for best sound and fit. I would not use these for general hearing protection as the NRR is not the best, but they are still quite useful for their intended purpose. Read more
