I'm so pleased with this massager. It works really well. The box says the charge lasts 5-7 hours, which is probably correct. While using it, the massager will run for 10 minutes and then shuts off. If I wait a minute I can turn it back on again. I am able to use it for several days in a row before needing to charge it again. Actually I haven't had the battery run down yet. I charge it every few days so that it doesn't run down when I need it. All of the extra pieces are useful, especially the extension arm. I love being able to reach anywhere on my own back so I can do it myself. Changing out the parts is really simple. This massager is high quality and works well. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This CAREKING 2-in-1 massage gun is honestly one of the most useful fitness recovery gadgets I’ve bought in a while. The standout feature for me is the detachable 20-inch extension handle. I’ve used other massage guns before, but always needed to awkwardly ask my wife to help me reach my mid-back or shoulder blades. With this, I can finally handle it solo—even hitting those stubborn knots right between my shoulder blades. Assembly is super simple. The extension clicks on and off in seconds, so if I’m working on my quads or calves I just use the gun by itself, but for my back I add the handle. It doesn’t feel flimsy at all—the extension is sturdy, and the grip is surprisingly ergonomic even when fully assembled. The percussion power is impressive for the price. It’s got multiple speed settings (I usually stay around mid-level for my neck but crank it up for my lower back or glutes after deadlift day). The different attachments are nice too—I tend to use the ball head for larger muscle groups and the bullet one for trigger points. It feels genuinely effective at loosening tight spots, and I always notice less soreness the next day. One more thing I really like: the noise level is very reasonable. My old massage gun was annoyingly loud like a power drill. This one is quieter—I can actually watch TV while using it without cranking the volume. Also worth mentioning: I’m using my FSA card to cover it. Super handy, since it’s eligible. Overall, if you want a massage gun that actually solves the problem of how do I reach my own back, this is an excellent choice. It’s powerful, versatile, well-built, and surprisingly affordable. Highly recommended, especially for people who train regularly or deal with chronic tightness. Read more
Really nice and lightweight. I have a theragun pro but had a lot of trouble hitting my back. The neck on this makes reaching those difficult areas easy. I only wish it was a little stronger. Read more
The extra wide hand held band can reach my aching back muscles and especially helpful to reach the back of my buttock where I have a painful knotted muscle for a long time. I took it to my chiropractor and showed it to him. He recommended me to use mainly the flat round disc attachment because it can reach/vibrate to a wider area of my aching muscles. The round ball attachment is also good but he thought the flat disc would be better for me. I don’t use much of the other two attachments. He warned me not to use this apparatus right on my cervical spine, which made sense. All in all I am happy with this tool. The handheld wide swan neck band is easy and comfortable to use n can teach areas such as my buttock muscles and the back of my thighs. It is not cheap but is worth the money. Read more
the first of these I ordered would not function with the 'gooseneck' attachment, making it pointless to buy this particular model. A replacement was sent quickly, to my satisfaction, and it worked well. For a few weeks. Now, it does the same thing as the previous item, though now with and without the 'gooseneck'. It turns on, then rumbles erratically like an out-of-tune Harley Motorcycle...then stops and all the lights flash red until you turn it off. Fortunately, Amazon is issuing a refund for this and I'll move on to a different product, sadly. EDIT: So after not receiving the refund as I was promised BY Amazon...I'm now told it is too late to return either the original order OR the replacement. I would STRONGLY suggest to NOT order this product, as I can see in multiple reviews the same issue that I had - which would imply this is garbage, at best. Further, I'd not buy any of this companies products that seem to last JUST long enough to put you out of assistance per Amazon's ridiculously short return policy. Trash product from a Trash company from apparently a Trash e-tailer. Read more
Excellent value for money. Compares in quality to one we bought of a different brand a few years back for over $300. I like this one because of the ability to massage my own back and neck. I have chronic neck pain and our other model hurt too bad to hoist it up far enough to do my neck. This one is well-designed and light enough for me to use. It has 5 intensity settings. I usually like it on 2-3--plenty of strength for my knots. I like, too, that you can remove the swan neck if you want to make it more like a traditional massage gun. I have never run out of battery during use. Read more
