I've purchased a few memory foam toppers over the years and I have found this one to be exceptionally comfortable for my needs. I have arthritis and highly recommend memory foam to help alleviate arthritis pain. This topper is like a mid weight as far as density in my opinion. It's not too firm but it gives me great support. Regular memory foam is great if you have a really firm mattress and will make it softer. But for me, the gel memory foam works best on my mattress which I would describe as medium support, but lacks sufficient padding. All memory foam will retain some body heat but the gel seems to breathe better and help decrease heat retention which works for me because I tend to run hot. My last topper was also gel memory foam but it was high density and a little too firm for me. I gave that one to my brother who outweighs me by 70 pounds and purchased this new one for myself, now we are both resting well! Read more

I was skeptical after reading a couple reviews, but this topper is everything I was hoping for. It comes tightly wrapped in a roll. You simply carefully cut the plastic wrap, lay it out on a flat surface, and within minutes you will see the foam begin to puff into shape. However, let it puff for 2 days, to get full effect. Do not rely on any negative reviews to deter you. This product is worth it. Believe me. The guest twin bed is now EXTRA comfy. I unpacked and laid the topper directly on top of my mattress. It took only less than a couple of hours for the topper to fully inflate to the full height 3 inches. I then covered the topper with my fitted cotton quilted thin mattress protector. There was no smell or odor whatsoever right out of the plastic bag. I ordered a full sized topper and it fits perfectly on top of my full sized mattress. I always use queen size sheet sets for my full sized high mattress instead of using deep-pocket full sized sheet sets. The mattress, the topper and the mattress protector are fully covered under the queen sheet set, making changing sheets so much easier and the sheets last longer from not being stretched out too much. The topper feels very nice with great absorbency molding and hugging my body when I lay on it. If I can get a year of usage out of this topper, it would be enough for me to be happy. I’m sure I’m gonna have many good night sleep with this topper. Since I recently bought it in winter, I don’t know how this topper will perform during hot summer yet. I guess I shall find out. The topper is heavy, but easy to put on. It came quickly and well packaged for transport. My son is a college football lineman so needed some extra support for his thin dorm bed mattress. It was a significant upgrade at first over the mattress alone. However, for a nearly 300 lb guy, the topper did not give enough support for hips or shoulders. It compressed and deformed over the course of two semesters. It is better than nothing, but spend extra on a more therapeutic product or replacement mattress if you are heavier or have hip, back, shoulder, or other pain points. Read more

These toppers are a miracle worker for your mattress! We have one on every bed . I also purchased 2 twin size , cut them in half and encased them in waterproof zipper mattress covers for the dogs . We are all so pleased . There was no odd smell that lingered. A bit upon first opening but was gone instantly . The fit and size and exact . They do not slide around while you sleep. Which is the best sleep ever . They are durable yet easy to trim for other uses if need be . I have them in covers because of the dogs being on everyone's bed so i have not had any stain issues . But i will say ,you have to clean gently- most types of foam will tear with any type of scrubbier or brush. The value is grand. We have spine issues , light sleeper issues, and snoring in our household and this has helped everyone with their issues in some way .
