works fine incredible price doesnt matter how long it lasts!! The only way to tell if its turned on is to cover the solar panel, since it has a photo cell the on off switch does nothing till you cover the front panel. Then you can see if its in the on or off mode!! Read more
I have used it for 1 year, I like it Read more
Absolute waste of money!!! These lights (first 2 del 12/15) worked at first....sort of. Meaning even thought panel would be out in full sun from sun rise to set, lights would only stay on approx. 3 or 4 hrs. And every time I turned around, the mode it was set to would change! I started to think it was me or my memory. My neighbor has the same type of lights & hers stay lit all night long after a full day "charging". AND hers are 2 or 3 years old!! These lights are specifically for outside yet I knew right away something was off because the chargin g light would go on when exposed to my table lamp! THAT isn't supposed to happen. I have/had several solar items and they do not charge off inside lamps. I even tried my neighbors panels and none would charge except by sunlight. Anyway, I didn't think much of it due to being busy preparing for the holidays. I ordered another set (del 12/18) because I ran short. My elderly mom hasn't had outside lights in years & was so excited so she was looking at them constantly. That's how we know how long they were lasting. She was so upset and disappointed. Christmas is not a good time for her ever since her only son passed away on Christmas Day 5 years ago. So I try to make it a lil better for her and this happens. Now the 2nd set us worse. One has never worked and the other (they come in pairs) is pretty much, as of tonight 12/22/25, the only set working outta 4. Yes. 3 of the 4 didn't come on at all. Actually none came on but when I tested the on/off switches, 1 set works. The other 3 won't charge, light up nothing. My mom actually cried over these lights!! They were pkgd fine, everything came on time, it's just a very poorly made product & we don't understand all the good reviews?? It can't just be us. I will update if anything is done to make it right! Read more
I use these on a bridge over a canal that separates our house from our son's house. They look really nice and have lasted longer than I thought they would. They are still lit up. Read more
Really pretty but only giving 4 stars because one stopped working about 2 weeks after I got it. The other one still works fine and ive gotten plenty of compliments from neighbors about them! Read more
Basic cardboard box packaging. Not flimsy but decent strength carboard. 2 light strands with solar power battery pack and 2 stake style stands came in the pack (bought purple and blue colors) Immediately tested upon arrival, battery comes with some charge (which is good) and the lights turned on Immediately. The lights are bright but not blindingly bright. Will make a nice accent to a garden or patio. We put ours in moroccan style hanging lanterns for a little pizzaz. Solar battery pack is a nice size. Not too big and can be easily placed to grab sunlight while not being very visible. Solar plates come with a protective plastic over them you peel off. On/off button is a push toggle style. Has protective waterproof cover. Easy to press but does take a little force. Nice click feedback to the buttons. Mode button is same style as on/off button. It toggles betweens 8 different modes. ([Not in order] Always on, blinking fast, blinking medium, blinking slow, random, fade in/out etc) Lights come wound on a cardboard piece which makes it easy to hang these without it getting tangled. Lights are tiny with a resin style coating over them attached to a very thin copper wire. This you have to be delicate with and avoid bending it to much as any wire bent back and forth will eventaully break. Feels sturdy otherwise. The wire makes it so you can "pose" these lights and go around corners very easily. (We loosely ball them up into a tangled mess though to fit them in our lanterns) Makes a fun little spectacle to jazz up a play house or light up a tree during holidays. 2 for this price is awesome. No problems so far. Read more
These lights have worked and looked the way I had thought they would. I have old tractor wheels that we installed as hand rails in the construction of our patio stairs and I wove these lights within the spokes. I wanted an effect of an almost invisible wire. I've attached pictures. What I REALLY don't like about these lights is the way they are packaged. The wired lights are coiled up on themselves and once you twist off the wired tie that holds them, they very quickly and easily spring apart and can quickly become entangled like a birds nest and frustrating and close to impossible to untangle. When this happens you have to very carefully untangle them because the wires are delicate. The wired lights should be wrapped around something to prevent this springing and tangling when trying to install. Please wrap the wire around some type of plastic or cardboard when packaging. I am really impressed with this 2-pack of solar fairy lights. I used them to line my outdoor stairs, and they add such a warm, magical glow to the Front porch! Used both lights. Since they are solar-powered, I didn't have to worry about finding an outdoor outlet or running extension cords. Fast shipping. Read more
