Forget the blades and the utility blades and all th fuss. These things may be odd looking but they will take that boxy square carpenters pencil and put a drawing tip on it like no tomorrow. They seem cheap and flimsy upon first look. Quote the contrary. They function very well. A bit of a fuss if you have arthritis but outside that easy to use. They could be a bit bigger and maybe a brighter color so not easy to lose or misplace. Tip. I keep mine n the drill bag with the drill and stuff. Not easy to lose tha way. Never lost a drill lol. Anyway value for the money is a def life saver. I get a clean point every time with zero wasted pencil product. Vs. the old way of pull th knife and shave it down.
