7/5/2022 UPDATE - back to 5 stars. Contacted company using their contact form (I did not find a support link) and explained the problem. They responded in about 48 hours requesting my address so they could send a replacement. They sent me 4 replacement parts, and they appear to be upgraded versions. that appear to be unable to crack, being what appears to be metal and nylon. Left (white) was the replacement. I don't know if this new part is going to become standard or not, but it should. UPDATE - after less than 2 weeks the plastic disk on one of the clamp cracked. It is still working, but I have no idea for how much longer. Dropped rating from 5 stars. Ordered 2 sticks from VKB. For simplicity, I was going to order their mounts as well. After doing some research, they were going to be twice as much (almost 3X with shipping.) So I looked for an alternative. These mounts are universal and work well with the sticks. They hold onto the desk extremely well and are a solid, stable platform. The only movement I experience is my my desk, not the mounts. Assembly was pretty easy and took about 30 minutes to do both, just because there are a lot of screws/nuts. These are the best bang for buck mounts that I've found. I don't usually give 5 stars, but these are totally worth it. Read more

First of all for the price you can't go wrong with these mounts. They're an excellent value for what you get...a solid joystick mount that works with a wide variety of Joysticks and HOTAS setups. As others have said the directions are more like schematics. You can certainly figure out how to put it together, but it makes things go about 5 times faster if you watch the jpein youtube video showing how to do it (although that video needs an update as it shows parts that are not in the upgraded unit). The great thing about these mounts is that they're really easy to get the placement and firmness you need. One major gripe I have is that if you own Thrustmaster MFD's there is an included mount, but no instruction on how to install that mount. Nowhere on their website. No youtubes. Nothing. I finally kinda figured it out, but I have no idea if I installed it as it should be installed. The MFD's don't move if I press them, but they're not actually attached to the mount. They're just kind of pushed from the backside as I push the buttons from the front. I think they could have made a much better mount for the MFD's. Overall, though this is a great buy for sim combat pilots wanting some deskspace and a solid set up for their throttles and joysticks. Update: I had reached out to the manufacturer about the MFD mounting instructions and they sent the attached photos. Pretty straightforward if you look at the bar mount across the bass of the MFD. You would utilize the long bolt that's included in the kit to attach and lock it down. It holds the MFD's firmly. This photo should be in the manual or at least on the website in an FAQ, but it's currently not. Still I'm grateful for the quick support turnaround. Hope this helps someone who is stuck! Read more

I've seen the negative reviews and seen the pictures associated with them. They're old reviews based on an old models. The model I'm reviewing is the one with the L-shaped brackets in the picture colored in red. No pictures because I'm lazy. Sorry, not sorry. Pros: -- These mounts are SOLID. The toggle clamps are great. When mounted to my desk, they don't wobble AT ALL. The grips grip well and the clamps don't need much pressure to hold. -- This mount should be able to mount quite literally anything you have due to the adjustable universal mounting brackets they've engineered, and how you mount them nothing should protrude out the sides of your sticks or throttles to jab you in the legs. It should be flush. -- The hardware that comes with the mounts are magnetic, meaning either steel or one of the variants of ferritic or martensitic stainless steels. -- The top part of the mount allows for mounting of other peripherals such as MFDs, holders for phones and tablets, button boxes, or whatever else you wanted to mount to it. Cons: -- It's extremely fiddly to put together, however based on the look of all the other mounts on Amazon, those ones are too. -- There were some QC issues with two pieces of hardware: A single screw which was cut about 2-3mm shorter than the others of the same size and one of the sliding T-nuts was tapped incorrectly and stripped as it was smooth where the threads would be. Neither of these two cons are a dealbreaker for me. Follow the Youtube instructions and you shouldn't have any issues. I would absolutely buy these mounts again. Read more
