Bought these for an evening reading light. The lamp is cute like Pixar and soft light is so essential! Lights come with one extra set of batteries, magnetic base, options on box for other colors which I’d love to acquire….i thought maybe it was junky when I first inspected these lights, but they are actually pretty cool and perform with smooth operations. I bought 8 of these to surprise my son as he is a big fan of the Pixar lamp. Straight out of the box 2 did not work properly. The on/off switch did not click. Then as I was testing them all out 2 of the remaining 6 flickered on and off and would only stay on if you pushed on the LED. So to sum up, 4 out of 8 that I bought are working well. The other 4 are useless. If you are planning on using this as a book light be warned that the joints get loose and the head flops down regularly. Battery life - poor Build quality - poor Quality control - poor Also, you should all know that the exact same product in the same box is also available on temu for half the price. Teeny tiny little lamps that probably don't serve much purpose except to fill the void of a pixar lamp toy. They do come apart pretty easily though. One of the ones we received comes apart easier than the other so we put the better one in our daughter's stocking and reserved the other for replacement parts. A nice touch is that they both come with replacement batteries so since we'll only be using one, we shouldn't have to buy batteries for quite a while. Our daughter immediately recognized it as the pixar lamp and loved it. I'm really not even sure why they would bother offering this in any color but white because like I said, it's not really useful as an actual lamp. Read more
