The bags are heavy duty and do not rip easily. We used them to wrap and protect 2 mattresses while being moved and they worked out great. Read more

The plastic quality, thickness and overall size were perfect for both a twin sized mattress and box spring. I probably could have fit two in one. 8 inch unsealed corner... mfg defect maybe?
The thickness seemed like it "might" be 5mil BUT after placing mattress in bag, there was a small 6 inch tear that happened while maneuvering bag over the mattress. While inspecting it for any more rips, I discovered an "unsealed" opening of approx 8 inches in one corner of the sealed bottom of the bag. Perhaps a defect. Of course. I taped these areas up.
