I bought the 2‑Pack Plasma Arc Long‑Reach USB‑C Rechargeable Lighters in black — one for me and one to gift — and I am so impressed. They came charged right out of the box, and after using mine almost daily for the last couple of months, it’s still sitting at half battery. That alone is worth five stars. I love the built‑in safety slide that you have to push forward before the ignition button works. It’s simple but reassuring. The bright blue charge indicators are easy to see, and I’m always a fan of anything USB‑C rechargeable instead of dealing with disposable lighters or batteries. The charging port is on the opposite side from the buttons and indicator lights. Just note that the USB‑C port doesn’t have a dust cover, so if you’re using it outdoors, camping, or around sand, you’ll want to be mindful of that. Performance‑wise, it lights every candle wick instantly. No struggling, no repeated clicks, no burnt fingers. The tip does collect a bit of black soot, but most of it wipes right off. This thing is awesome! Safe, super easy to use and rechargeable! Does almost everything a regular lighter can do but never run out of butane! Charges with USB-C you're set for life (or until USB-D). I use it to light an alcohol lamp, and a butane stove, it lights both instantly. And the ignition tip is at the end of a long bendable stick which makes it even more convenient than a regular lighter. Somewhat surprisingly, it even lights cigarettes! Unfortunately I can't give an honest review for longevity, hopefully the battery lasts! I don't mind having to recharge it every few uses. So far I've used it 10+ times and the battery indicator has not gone down. I’m really happy with this 2-pack of electric plasma arc lighters. They’re USB rechargeable, so I no longer have to buy disposable lighters, which saves money and reduces waste. The long reach with the flexible/rotating neck makes it easy and safe to light candles, BBQ grills, fireplaces, and even camp stoves without burning my fingers. The plasma arc works well even in windy conditions — much more reliable than traditional flame lighters. For the price and versatility, these are excellent everyday lighters for home and outdoor use. Fun to use and inexpensive. These cost less than normal gas lighters and will presumably last a lot longer since they are rechargeable. I've been using them for a couple weeks to light candles and my BBQ and they do the trick, though not quite as fast as a flame lighter. My one complaint is that the battery seems to drain if the power switch is left on. But they do seem to charge very quickly, so that makes up for it a little. Read more
I was sceptable at first about these fighters. I use these lighters in a commercial kitchen. Using them countless times a day they work like I could of never imagined. I have to charge them about once a month. Which is great being that that they get use all day long. I would definitely recommend for anyone. Great product Read more
WOW ... I really like this Arc Lighter. I never used one before, so I was not sure what to expect. It didn't take long to wonder why I waited so long to purchase one. They are so easy to use, they take very little time to charge, the battery holds for a long time, no flame to worry about, the arc is perfect for all types of uses, the goose neck is great for lighting in all situations, there is no noise, it is comfortable to hold and looks great in appearance. For the price, I wasn't expecting much. But the price it why I gave this a try in the first place. Someone had already given me a zippo style plasma lighter a few years back, but it was underwhelming and didn't seem to last long on a charge (and charging was annoying via the crappy usb micro port). ANYWAY, this product is an advancement in every way. It charges through our usb C cords, though I can't remember the last time I had to bother charging one. It also kicks out a strong spark, and hasn't failed to light anything we've tried it on. We use it for the grill, camping stoves, candles, and paper for starting fires. I misplaced the second one until just yesterday, when I realized I had put it away in our camp bin well over a year ago. It was still charged and ready to go. And that flexible neck is just icing on the cake, it makes lighting gas under grates so much easier. Can't recommend this enough. Read more
