Like anyone buying these, we needed a couple more than the two that came in the original packaging with the baby proof latches. They work well and came with adhesive-mounting magnetic catch plates for storage. The only inconvenience is that they are slightly larger than the ones that came in the full kit. This makes it so that they will not cleanly adhere to the smaller mountable catch plates from the original kit. It's only a slight inconvenience, hence just 1 star deducted. Read more

I got these extra magnets because I had only one with the cabinet locks, and ended up locking it in the drawer before I realized it. These magnets are much bigger than the one I had from the pack with the locks, but they do the job just perfect. They do seem of the same great quality as the ones that come with locks, and I actually like the bigger size so the kids can’t put it in their mouth. There’s nothing exceptional about the look, just a magnet, and I wouldn’t expect anything more. I didn’t use the adhesive it comes with, since I keep mines on the side of the fridge for when I need it. There’s really no installation, unless you want to keep it at the non-magnetic surface.
