Took some time, but I was finally able to pry it off & turned them around & they worked great. Stickies stuck again just fine. They’re made of metal like advertised and doesn’t seem like they’ll break anytime soon. The only real complaint is that these can make your laptop rather steep which might be uncomfortable to some.
