WOW—-Dip Nail Removal Game Changer!!!

SunnyFebruary 17, 2020✓ Verified purchase

Thank You for this great product! First time I did not struggle with removing my (silk tip) dip nails—- product came off within 10 minutes! I filled water reservoir with Hot tap water, used 100% acetone in finger well (stuffed cotton cosmetic round into well ) then inserted my finger. I had E-filed dip nail first to remove bulk, then soaked. After about 5 minutes I began to gently twist finger, rubbing against cotton occasionally. At first it didn’t give, so I waited soaking a bit more, then twisted again, slowly (but way faster than all other removal trys!) dip product & silk tip began to give way -dissolving too in the process. Silk tip slid off relatively intact but with dip product mostly ‘gooed’ off. I believe the main reason this removal method was most successful was because of the constant heat that the tap water supplied to the acetone, keeping it warm which really speeded up the acetone’s effectiveness! All other tip wrap approaches involved cold removal product and fingers- which definitely delayed the removal. Sticking fingers into a cold acetone finger bowl bath worked only slightly better! These double chamber soak bowls with individual finger soak wells and ergonomic hand rest is GENIUS! Bowls not only speed removal - but allow you to soak individual finger(s) while preserving product on others (although personally I would cover the fingers I didn’t want to remove product with a latex glove - where I cut off the tips on fingers that I wanted to soak). That you get 2 of these soak bowls which are sturdily constructed is fantastic!!! Thank you again for such a great product at such a great price and especially for making the dip nail process soooooo much easier and less frustrating for me!!! I HIGHLY recommend to all nail enhancement people reading this review to buy and try this ! game changer! Read more

You think you don’t need this but you are wrong

I’ve always just used a glass bowl to soak off my nails. Then someone in my nail group suggested this product because you can put hot water in the bottom section which helps with nail removal. I used it for the first time today and I am shocked at how little product you need with this dish! Seriously, such a tiny amount of product! It’s not only a much more comfortable way to soak off your nails, it will save you money in the long run and you will have less toxic chemicals to dispose of. Read more

Great Buy

I tried using these to soak off my nails. I didn't have the best of luck. It was no fault of these soaking bowls. They are perfect! Fingers fit with lots of room to move them around. You can easily fill with acetone. The basin is deep enough to put warm/hot water in as a catalyst for the acetone. These are so easy to clean! I am lazy and let the acetone evaporate. Then I used remove the acetone film. They don't need to soak, unless you to soak them. I found a better use for them. I use these bowls to hold my soak caps. Without these soak bowls my caps would dump over. As you can see they are good for this! It's not a big deal I didn't have luck using these for soaking off my nails. I am still able to use them. I would buy these again for this purpose! Love them! Read more

Perfect for At-Home Gel and Acrylic Removal!

HelenOctober 9, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I love these Rolabling Nail Soaking Bowls! They’re a game changer for anyone who does their nails at home. The design makes it super easy to soak off gel and acrylic nails without a mess. The built-in finger rests are a great touch, keeping your fingers comfortably in place while soaking in acetone. It holds just the right amount of liquid and is sturdy enough to handle frequent use. I also appreciate that it comes in a 2-pack—so convenient for both hands at once! These bowls make the whole process quicker and more efficient. Highly recommend for any nail enthusiast looking for a professional manicure experience at home! Read more

A Tool I Didn't Know I Needed

Kaitlyn J.May 25, 2020✓ Verified purchase

I've been doing my own nails for years using gel or regular polish but I recently switched to acrylic dip powder and I struggled horribly to remove it, no matter what I tried. I bought this based on a recommendation I saw in a Facebook group and I am SO GLAD I did. This comes as a two pack. Since I like to have one hand free while removing my nails, I gave one to my friend who has also been getting into doing her own nails. I buffed off the shiny layer of my nails, filled the bottom bowl with warm water from the tap, clipped in the top piece and then filled with acetone. I let my nails soak for 5 minutes without being disturbed and then I used a paper towel to lightly buff each nail. Then I would let all nails soak for another minute or two and do the same thing, repeating until all product was removed. This is by far the most effective and comfortable way I have found to soak directly in acetone. All together it took about 20 minutes per hand to remove all of the polish. I had four layers of powder on so I imagine it would take less time with fewer layers or gel polish. My nails are brittle in general from previous attempts at removal, but I anticipate after using this their integrity will build up again. The only thing I dislike about this method, not necessarily this product, is how wasteful it is of the acetone... good thing acetone is fairly cheap! Read more
