I don’t usually write reviews because I’m forgetful. But this was one of those items where I had to make a review. I just bought a brand new pair of Birkenstocks and sprayed them with a water protectant. Worst mistake. It made them look old, worn & stained looking. I just bought them so I had to figure out how to fix this. Google told me to use a suede brush so I came to Amazon to find the cheapest one just incase it didn’t work. It came in today and worked within seconds of brushing my shoes. I didn’t even use the eraser thing it came with, only the brush. Completely restored them and now they look brand new again. When you need a suede brush you need it. It can revitalize shoes and make them cleaner. I have several pairs of sandals that have a suede lining and after a couple of wearings your toes leave a mark. This is exactly what I needed. The brush is used for plumping up your suede. The wire end is used for dislodging stains from suede. The rubbery thing is like a giant pencil eraser - it’s great at removing stains from regular leather, but I didn’t find it helpful on suede. The brush works better.
